Current account at £30 overdrawn this morning. I have £30 cheques that will clear tomorrow that will cover that, and any cash income from today, so it'll only be for a day, hopefully.

Bought pictionary last night for Christmas. Inspired by Sheldon and Penny.
Amazon is lovely!
And bought yet another pair of school trousers for daughter, delivery is £5 which strikes me as a little extortionate, but it would cost nearly that for a bus ticket to pick them up from store, an would have taken all day as the shop isn't a city centre one but a silly little one in an area the wrong side of the city. On the plus side, they have finally entered the 20th century and started doing online deliveries, so I can now order stuff without having to spend money on bus fare and all bloody day on the bus.

Finally bit the proverbial and insured the piano today.

Insurance covers replacement as new ..... £30,000  I did not know these Steinway uprights went for THAT much now!!!
At least I know now that if one of my younger students leans on the music stand (which they often do before I can tell them not to), if it comes off I can get it repaired professionally

I think I get paid 3 days early this month. I'm not sure, and I'm not bothered enough to phone finance and ask them, but Payday is usually the 24th so I should be getting paid on the 21st
Tax credits should come through then too, so 21st is a bit of a big day for my bank accounts! :T

I did an Aldi shop tonight. My daughter tagged along so it was more expensive than I was hoping but not by that much. I wasn't too impressed with a lot of their stuff, to be honest; I'm such a fan of Tesco Value range that a large amount of groceries from Aldi were actually more expensive than what I usually pay
(some ALOT more so.... )
But.... Their alcohol section is amazingand I'm planning on getting nicely hammered over the Christmas period
Bottle of martini £4.49
Bottle of vodka £8.99
Bottle of Bucks Fizz £1.99
Bottle of Chardonnay £2.99
12 pack of San Miguel £6.99
Happy bunny, me
