Good luck on the ebay sales0
-
That sounds like a little gold mine with the atlases Chopin, I hope you get loads for them. Well at least a good amount, you know what ebay can be like sometimes, I have things listed and will watch out for bidders, but I am not that confident really. I used to sell a lot at one time and then grew sick of the changes and ever increasing fees, the need to always use paypal (an ebay bought company) so I took myself away for a long time, but I need to rid this house of more clutter so I am dipping my toe back in lol
Good luck, I hope you can make some cash out of your decluttering too!
I know what you mean about the fees, and I get fed up with paypal too, but it seems cheaper for me to list than last time I tried, due to the 99p freebie thing, as on my last foray into ebay I lost money on unsold goods and got piddled off so gave up.
Well, that, and stroppy buyers.
Paypal irritates me, they have a monopoly. I hate monopolies.
Have fun making a bit of money this time round though !!!:j

ThanksI'm re-organising one of my listings this morning as I've had a massive amount of interest in it - it's just a jumper but a quite unusual one, so everybody and their dog is asking after specific measurements.
I've posted them now, can't be bothered with emailing back every 2 minutes!
:rotfl:

Have listed one of those maps. I mentioned in the listing it was "highly sought after"
well, I'm sure it is by SOMEBODY!
I have a bid at last on a crappy old skirt with a tear in it.... I photographed the tear, I only relisted it as its free and it's easier to relist it than take it to charity.... (my charity shops asks for unsellables as they get rag money per kilo so we give them all sorts of c**p and they like it)
Toodles

Thats a personal best
Teaching finished, money earned, piano duet of Arrival of the Queen of Sheba taught and completed - a good day all round

Aaah, that was my favourite duet when I used to play far better than I do now......
Hello! I've read your diary over a few days and thank you for putting it up. You and your DD sound like an older (DD, not suggesting you're even older than me)version of me and my DD, work together as a fabulous team and both on the same path.
Keep up the good work, and good luck with the debt-busting0 -
Aw thanks kittikins
we are pretty much on thE same path except she's 15 so doesn't rEally get how the little things add up quite like I do.... But she's really got the eBay bug which is fab as she's worked out how to afford stuff I can't, and it's given her a real sense of responsibility towards her own finances: instead of just complaining or expecting, she's actually doing something about it, and as a bonus, her bedroom is getting tidier as she's bein really ruthless - she's now looking at her stuff and asking herself if she'd rather have something better instead of just keeping it in case she might one day use it again. :T
I'm not surprised that duet was your favourite! Sometimes I can barely believe I get paid for having that much FUN!!!!!

Well that was interesting.
I thought I'd be brutally honest with myself and update my signature when it gets worse not just when it gets better!
Due to it being a rather c****y time of the month, bills wise, I have a worse overdraft amount and DFD.
Library fines are also worse as I made a typo last time I typed them up!
eBay is looking better, but I have taken into account all money in AND money expected, but not money out in fees or unpaid money owed to daughter, so that's artificially high. It's easy for me to see this though as that's the final figure on my spreadsheet and I'm ok with seeing figures go down as well as up - it't the nature of my finances!
DFD has gone back by a month, but that should creep back towards the end of the month as I get paid with few bills left.
So.......... it all looks .....

Deposited £90 cash from teaching, DFD just shot forward a month. I knew it wouldn't take much! :T

Corrected Natwest Current account by £20 (not in my favour)
DFD shot back by a month to June again
I'm living on the edge, here ....
