the rings are from a place called
www. uktitaniumjewellery .co.uk
I have no link to them other than getting my rings from there
postage is under £5 and it took 4 days for ours to be delivered so i can reccomend them

Well, im not even half way through all the tips yet, so so many. Not getting married till may 2012 so have enough time to go through it all.
Just wondered what everyone paid for venue. I have a feeling this will be the more expensive bit of the wedding as we are gonna get hitched at the hotel too. Me and my fella are wanting to get hitched as cheap as possible but i dont really want to comprimise on venue, its one area that could cause arguements.
What has all your weddings cost in the end?? Mates of ours have all said £12k:eek::eek::eek: i dont even want to spend half that.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

I think that the price of the venue really depends on where th wedding will be. You can get gorgeous places in the north for loads less than in london etc. You could look at your local council alot of them have nice buildings which start at VERY cheap (£350 is the cheapest in my area for 2 days hire)
I think the price depends on how many people you want there and how much you are willing to compromise on your dress etc.
congrats xxThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
hi all, we have just booked to get married at the local registry office in May 2011. H2B had a day off today and whilst wandering around the town centre i suggested we pop into Debenhams to see what dresses they had in the Debut section.
I could not believe it, i found a ivory 'wedding' dress reduced from £115 to £20 and if that wasn't bargain enough it was a BOGOF offer. snapped up a dress for the evening too and they cost a grand total of £27. Budget is back on track now! just have to loose a few pounds to fit in it comfortably:)0 -

I went Covent Garden market early last saturday and it was great.
I am having calla lillies which are £1.50 per stem and bear grass £1.00 per bunch does about 4/5 vases which means it will cost me £33 for 10 tables played about with flowers i bought. when i can sort out my camera will up load.
dont need to be a florist to go they but get there early as lots of choice.
charge £4 to get in with your car.i guess free if you walk in.
Hope this helps
big bunches of tulips where £15 and a bunch of roses with about 10 roses was £10.
I also found ask different suppliers how much as they all charge slightly different,
Good Luck everyone has said my table deco look lovely and elegant
Hi there - thanks so much for your tip. I'm really glad to ehar of someone else going there, cos the websites not exactly very welcoming to non-commercial visitors. I'll brave it now! Thanks again!
p.s - Did you arrange them yourself too? lookin forward to the pics :-)0 -
Please can someone give me a bit of advice please i am getting married in august next year and trying to start organising im a little confused regarding the whole after the service part do you have to have a wedding breakfast before the reception my mum says yes o/h says no
Hiya - You can have whatever you want!!! The tradition though, i think, is usually to have the ceremony first, then the 'wedding breakfast' (ie the big meal), then the reception/partee :-) But do it however you wanna!0 -
My wedding tips so far:
I paid £140 for my full wedding outfit, including accessories and shoes. I got my fully steel boned corset from here: http://www.corsets-uk.com/heavy-lacing-corsets.html for £40, tiara from China on ebay for £6.99, faux fur stole £7 from ebay, lace shrug £7 ebay, shoes were bought by a friend when I was her bridesmaid (just cheap silver pumps), silk skirt £50 from China on ebay and underskirt £30 from America on ebay. My friend is giving me her veil. So just make sure you shop around and see if you can get things separately or look for a reputable seller in China. I find it difficult to get dresses to fit me because of my shape so I wasn't sure about getting a full dress. I am a gothic kinda person so I am used to steel boned corsets and recommend them if you have a bit of extra weight around the tummy. Just make sure you wear a flouncy skirt as well
For my cake I was going to buy a cheap little white cake from Sainsbury's to cut, then have a cupcake stand full of treats such as those mini doughnuts, flap jacks, short bread, brownies etc. But my mum has said she wants us to have a proper big cake and has offered to pay for it so that's that out the window! Thought I would pass my idea on though.
When looking for your venue, think about whether you are going to need to decorate it. I had a look at some hotels and things but I figured I would need some amount of decorating before they would look nice and less like a hotel meeting room. So we chose the atmospheric 'Caves' in Edinburgh. This is 100% me and my fiance's taste, nice and gothic with all the candles thrown in too. We aren't doing any decorations or flowers. But this did come at a venue hire cost of £1250. Maybe search out some different venues and decide what is important to you and how you want it to look. Personally, I am trying to have this wedding as stress free as possible so not having to worry about fresh flowers or decorations suits me fine!
Look into silk flowers instead of fresh if you want to save some money. I am having small silk bouquets in ice blue and darker blue to go with my winter theme.
We are having our ipod for entertainment, saves paying for a band or DJ and means we can pick all the music. Not all venues offer this though.
See if you have any budding photographers in your family/friends. We are having a family member do the main photographs and a friend do any others so we have lots to choose from. And it's free
I'm getting married in November 2011 so still quite far off yet. Hope these tips help someone.0
