Actually why don't you tell us what you specifically want and take it from there... x0 -
on a different note, just bought my underwear from Simply Yours. Really impressed with the prices as they are not that expensive and have a gorgeous range. I bought a strapless bra, suspender belt and pants all for £53 cause I found a 20% discount code! Only downside is that they take over a week to deliver but recieved mine today and i am over the moon!Freebies - Savvy Shopping Bag, Energy Saving Plug, Hugo Boss SampleWinnings - Dvd The Road sold on Ebay for a tenner:j0

If you can get yourself to the National Wedding Show at the NEC this weekend, there are a few shops selling shoes and lots selling bridal gowns, there were a heck of a lot of sample sales and shops offering 80% off gowns.0

Well, it might be a tall order showtunesgirl... but you asked for it!
I want wedges - where you don't see fake wood or cork(!) - that are really comfy (probably needs more than a really thin bit at the ball of the foot bit), not too high (probably 2-3" max), white/ivory, perhaps prettied up with diamontes or deep red embroidered pattern. Something along the lines of this:

but smaller heels and possibly chunkier wedges, or this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260295439237
in a size 7ish, wide fit probably, and cheap (up to £45 if they were GORGEOUS and/or sell-on-able)
Think it can be done? Or am I really being too fussy?
On another note, does anyone else feel put off going wedding dress shopping cos of the ladies in the bridal shops wanting to dress you while you're in your underwear...?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

Good choice maccaandclaire! :T They have some really nice stuff and they have a massive range of sizes for a decent price. I think the catalogue type places, in general, are MUCH cheaper and better stocked than the stores for things like basques etc."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
It took a while but I have read them all and I am now feeling a bit more confident about paying for my wedding.
I am getting married at Gretna Green registry office on 18th July 2009, will have approx 35 close friends and family there then go for a meal afterwards. We are spending most money on a two week honeymoon to cuba then having an evening reception in a local town hall once we get back, with 300ish guests!
Getting married in gretna means that a lot of the usual services ie photos, cars and hair are cheaper and you know the people you hire have lots of wedding experience!
Still got lots to arrange have only realy started properly this week as I am on holiday. Should really go to bed as I am taking mum, daughter and 2 sisters to look at bridesmaid dresses in the morning, and it is now quarter to 3!!!0 -

Exactly and also you can try them on in the comfort of your own home and if they dont fit, most catalogues will let you exchange for free, ie no postage. If you can find a promotional code at the same time, quids in! :money:Freebies - Savvy Shopping Bag, Energy Saving Plug, Hugo Boss SampleWinnings - Dvd The Road sold on Ebay for a tenner:j0 -
