After an hour and a half I gave up at work and came home. Popped into the supermarket to get what I couldn't get in town, spent £12 and I can get £3 back as I was buying some things for a friend too. I also needed to fill my car up
£60.51 but used my nectar card so more points there. Today's spend was £69.51.
Going to get SOA hunting now, thanks edinburgher (with a name like that I guess you are not too far away from me!)MFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

It looks like I will definately be able to OP my £230 at the end of the month :j I have £617.05 in my account and £10 in my wallet. £313.71 is spoken for, taking that and the OP away leave me with £73.34 so going to try and spend no more than £5 a day. This should be really easy as I have already filled my car up and I don't really spend when I am at work. I just need to try and keep tabs on our food shopping for the rest of the month. I also have my £51.80 that I made last week as a buffer but I am trying to keep that for next month when I am away a lot. Might hunt out my old mobiles in case I need some extra cash.MFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

Haha - I joined the board when I lived in Edinburgh - now a weegie again0 -
I've had another NSD for my own money but spent some of our food money. I think we will probably end up transferring some money into the food account but I will still be ok for my OP :jMFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

Appointment booked with the bank for next Wednesday but not sure if DH can make it, at least it will make us do a SOA now.
Another NSD day today and I didn't need to buy any food either. I am tempted to pay the OP now but going to wait until the end of the month just in case I find a need for the money. Even if we keep our OPs to £460, if we can save extra in savings then at least we would have money to pay off early if we wanted.
Need DH to help me get my box of books upstairs so I can start selling them.MFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

I have spent 89p on milk today and we spent some money on a meal out from our food/spending account so we will probably have to top that up before the end of the month.MFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

Yesterday's spend was £12.90, some orange juice to take to a pampered chef party and a utensil at said party that may be a waste of time but will mean I don't waste so much syrup etc when I am baking so kind of balances out the cost.
I think today will be a high spend. I have a Bowen technique session this morning which is £20 and we are going out for our date night. We have just transferred £50 each into our spending account (not to spend the whole of it today) which takes me down to a spend of £6 a day to the end of the month. DH did say this morning that we didn't have to go but I have been looking forward to it and we spend every night in the house anyway so have said I would like to go. Going over early for some window shopping then dinner and a couple of drinks before coming home.MFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

£2.44 spent on some groceries which means we can have lunch here today and tomorrow, definately more affordable than eating out. Will see how much we spend later but seeing as we currently have the qualifying for the grand prix on at the mo I guess we will be going out laterMFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

Slight change to this evening, we are eating in our local town and going to see Grease, probably costing more but we have an extra stash for things like this so we can cover the cost easily. It is a recovery plan as DH had thought we wouldn't need to book anywhere where we were going, I decided to ring earlier and everywhere was fully booked, at least we have something to do :jMFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200

We need to do a supermarket shop tomorrow, I am going to try and persuade DH to sit down and make a shopping list with me so we don't have to get more than we need and then risk throwing more food. Hopefully we can also save a bit of money that way too. We are going via Ald! to see what fruit and veg we can get as we are unimpressed with the supermarket selection at the mo and then will get the rest in the bigger supermarket. I think we have enough meat stuff for each main meal until the end of the month so I am going to try and work on that. We have already got a leg of lamb out of the freezer for tomorrow.MFW 2025 No. 7 £700/£1200
