    Yes :)

I have a joint FlexAccount with my husband and we have both successfully opened an individual Flexclusive Regular Saver. Is that what you meant?

This can't be done online, but we did it in branch and I understand others have done it on the phone.

    OK. Thanks.
I tried online and was refused. I tried on the phone and was refused. I didn't try in a branch.
    Better luck next time.

Another yes. Did it by phone with a very friendly and helpful CSA. Result - 2 individual FRS accounts from one joint account.

The first monthly anniversary of opening our Flexclusive Regular Saver account is approaching, and I had wondered whether I could transfer money before the actual date.

The account was opened on the 29th August, I will 'try' and transfer into this account tomorrow.

    Interesting thread.
  • Earlier posts in the thread suggest you can. It's one payment per calendar month rather than anniversary month. You can exploit this by getting next month's payment in as early as possible in the month, so that it's earning 6% for longer.

In fact, if you don't pay in by tomorrow, don't you miss out on a September payment?

I'm in no doubt at all.

    1st deposit £250 15 August
    2nd deposit £250 1 September
    3rd deposit will be £250 1 October

Pay in as early in the month as possible to maximise interest :)

    Thanks psychicteabag.

I didn't think Nationwide would allow the next amount of cash to be transferred until the anniversary date.

It looks like we're missing out a little and will transfer tonight before going offline.

Thanks very much for your help.

Only if you both also have a sole FlexAccount in addition to the joint, and place the required £750/month into each account.

this is incorrect I believe. a joint account which credits £750 means the account is prime whatever the circumstances (excluding internal transfers).

This means you can EACH open an account for £250 per calender month . A joint flex regular savings account is still only allowed £250 credited, and since you can only have one, you might as well have 1 each and save £500 in total.

EDIT: Credits are per calender month. For example, you may pay in on the 31st of the months and then pay in on the 1st of the next month. Although do take into account (as someone has mentioned) it is best to pay in at the 1st of the month to maximize interest.
