My eldest will be 11 next month and is getting a few spots so I am wondering whether to get her going with c&p. Do people think that is too soon - any thoughts/advice would be most welcome.
My mother didnt do "skin care regimes" or even "paint toe nails" etc while i was growing up and my teen hormones where making the spots erupt like crazy. How ever i do remember trying several face washes etc as a teenager, clearasil used to sting like crazy but i started using olay toner and cream cleanser and the old fashioned nivea thats a sod to rub in before bedtime when i was about 12/13 ish. (my mother thought i was nuts at the time...soap and water was apparently all i needed)
While my mum was still having spots in her 30s my skin calmed down quickly. I still get asked ID even now ive reached 30 and i dont wear much or any foundation etc but always get good comments on the condition of my skin. I was just glad that i was able to find my routine without any peer pressure or competition, i think all or my close friends used clearasil at the time i think a nice shop assistant in a local boots store pointed me in the right direction.:pConsolidated and under control 42 payments to go.:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:([STRIKE]£7028.50[/STRIKE]£5990.43Aim: 35 and Debtfree0 -
Just dropping in quicklly before saying night night to declare another 2 UUs:
Aveda rosemary & mint shampoo 30ml
Aveda rosemary & mint conditioner 30ml
Would buy both these again - they seem to work really well for my hair and make it nice and shiny and manageable. Will definately be repurchasing when I need more hair care products. I still have some shampoo left in a litre bottle but have no more conditioner. Will put the shampoo on hold and UU others from my stash before re-purchasing any more conditioner. Potentially a HG product???0 -
Evening ladies, not been on for ages so have a few UU to report :j
Clinique Superdefense SPF25 GWP size - WNBA, I'm trying to go a bit more natural with my skincare and I think I am onto my last SPF moisturiser in the stash so I might actually get to buy something needed soon!
Body Shop Mandarin Orchid body spray - WNBA, think I have about 1/3 of the perfume left but I have plenty of fragrances still to get through
Body Shop Strawberry Puree body lotion - WNBA, I hate strawberry fragranced things! This was a freebie and it went well with all the sweet shower gels I have on the go at the moment so I used it up as quickly as I could
And ... drumroll please .... I have UU an eyeshadow! Clinique duo eyeshadow in Two to Tango, WNBA because I have enough eyeshadows to last me until retirement (and that is quite some time away!) I have hit pan on the Maybelline eyeshadow I am using now so that might get finished some time next year
And it is day 17 and still no Ins for me :ANo more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

Have a little uu today, Bamford Geranium body lotion, this was a mini from LIB, it is very nice and absorbs quickly but it is totally overpriced and I cannot smell the geranium at all. The matching body wash will be finished this week too.
My DD's eczema went from bad to worse recently, her hand was really hot and looked like it had been burnt and she developed weeping sores and then to top it all off she caught hand, foot and mouth so had even more blisters. The hydrocortisone from the doctors didn't help at all so in the end we resorted to Sudocrem and it has dried up all the soreness and has healed nearly all of the split skin. Her hand looks awful at the moment as all the old skin is flaking so we are moisturising that now with L'occitane shea butter hand cream so that should help. Sudocrem is not to be underestimated for healing purposes.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I haven't been on in a while as my UU's seem to have dried up a bit. Do have one though. Nice & Easy hair coulourant - wba, as the name suggests it was pretty easy and the colour came out well.
I also have a ta, a freebie mascara from a magazine. Opened this to try it and it was very dry and powdery inside so threw away straight away.VSP member #250 -
Will do my updating on my stash tonight as I have a few UUs and INs to declare after a very difficult holiday away last week (husband and I had a massive row which is indicative of our relationship right now). But just wanted to update in case some of you remember the big exam I took in July? Got my result today and failed by 3%. Utterly, utterly devastated for lots of reasons."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0

don't usually post on here
can you ask for your exam to be remarked? And/or tell them about any extenuating circumstances you may had affecting your performance.
I asked for some of my A level modules to be remarked, had to pay for it myself which was really challenging but the marks increased a lot, I was shocked and stopped believing that the marking process was fair or that my grades were accurate.
even at university different lecturers may give slightly different marks for the same essay.0 -
