Lacura shimmering day cream 50ml WIBA? This is way too shimmery for a facial moisturiser. I threw away the rest.

I used mine up as body lotion, which worked quite well. Moved on to S and G Girligo but not really liking it, fed up of all the S and G fragrances. Don't really want to open anything new though so will persevere for now unless I can find anything else that is already open.

kiplingmonkey, that healthy beautiful skin kit will be great for travelling!
What do you think of the limited edition cleanse & polish? I bought this recently too!

That's what I thought altho may gift it - we'll see ;). Haven't tried the c&p yet - have a 200ml tube of the original on the go so will UU that first.

Now, maths homework completed by DD so back to report on the the OUTs:

Liz Earle superbalm concentrate 2ml - my skin seems to get on really well with this and I love the smell. WBA but have several 2ml travel sizes plus a roller ball or 2 to get through first. Seems to work better for me than some of the Dec ones

Liz Earle daily eye repair 5ml - another post holiday splutterer. WBA - does what it says and is easily absorbed.

Liz Earle skin repair dry 15ml - as above., Use this as my night time neck cream and it is really effective.

Trevor Sorbie mousse - HG product - WBA and stock up when on offer in Boots

These go some way to addressing the INs this month. Hopefully should end up at least 'toiletry neutral' by the end of the month and might manage a small minus if I am lucky.

    Have a good Sunday everyone...

Another UU to declare, Balance me face moisturiser (magazine freebie), ok to use. I have now started to use l'occitane's sheabutter range both for day and night. In April-May time I put these products away since I don't need that much moisturising products in the Summer.

I also bought a nailvarnish remover today since I none left.

  • Hi

I joined this thread a while back and did really well at getting my stash under control but realised I'd slipped back into old ways when the stash under the spare bed no longer fitted in one box, and everywhere I looked in the house there was a tube or tub of something lurking!

So I wondered if you'd have me back! I counted up this morning and have 162 products including all the unopened ones. Looking through the list I think it would be achievable for me to spend absolutely nothing on toiletries until the end of the year and still be smelling sweet! I should also be able to finish at least 62 of them.

So they're my aims; 1) no purchases and 2) use up 62 to reduce the list to 100 products.

I was going to wait until October to join in, but knowing my warped logic I'd take advantage of the fact that I could still buy products and I'd be looking to reduce down from 200!!

    Sorry it's a long post

I have been to JL this afternoon and MrM has bought me my Christmas present. I know it's early but he's got me 2 x the new Elemis Think Pink kits which are price matched at the mo at £29.25 each. Very good value considering the PCMC in them alone is £48.00 worth.

Tried the new LE C&P on the back of my hand and was impressed with the fragrance and the fact that it didn't irritate me (rose fragrances tend to). I may get this when my Elemis cleanser runs out this month.

Saw that the Elemis Christmas gifts were instore too.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Great news about your mum Scrappie. You will be able to really enjoy Vegas without that extra worry.

Welcome to the newbies and returning TAs.

Been very quiet at the mo. RL getting in the way but I am still following along. I have hit the 6 week no buying mark :j. Wondering if I am cured?

Got a few splutterers on the go so should be reporting some UUs soon.

  • Hit another turning point again today.

Had to order from Mac online for their travel cleansing oil and usually I would have ordered something else in there as well. But this time I didn't! It's been so long since I ordered some makeup online (almost a year now!) that I hadn't changed my address or updated my bank details with them!

Lovely set - great value esp with 10% off. Mr KM would never buy me anything like that.

I keep meaning to ask, when did your daughter start on a skin care routine? My eldest will be 11 next month and is getting a few spots so I am wondering whether to get her going with c&p. Do people think that is too soon - any thoughts/advice would be most welcome.

Well done :T a timely reminder to me that I must do better next month and not be tempted by monthly offers. I can see that I won't be doing any TSVs anytime soon as there is absolutely nothing coming up that interests me in the next month. No doubt from Nov onwards there will be an Xmas onslaught to avoid!

Have had a fun afternoon sorting out my pumpkin swap - hope to post it tomorrow!
