*waves at everybody* Hello!
That's really fab news Scrappie
Dolly84 and wondercollie - I usually use the teeth whitening strips every 3 months, and buy a years worth when I go to the States annually. Depending on the brand, I apply them to the upper and lower teeth 1-2 times a day for approx 15 minutes, for approx 10 days in a row. They're good stuff. I have some acid erosion ie. thin tooth enamel, but have never had any sensitivity/issues with them. My dentist said they're fine to use and wouldn't contribute to further acid erosion. I suppose they may not be tolerated by someone who has persistently sensitive teeth though.
Dolly84 - is the Dr. Bronner's any good? I'm thinking of getting the rose or lavender one when I use up my current stash.
A couple of UU's to report:
1. Liz Earle Energising Body Scrub 15ml - nice to have an exfoliator that lathers up, but wasn't abrasive enough and I wasn't too fond of the woody smell. Probably WNBA - can get a more scrubby exfoliator for less.
2. Body Shop Cocoa Butter Creamy Shower Creme 250ml - is it just me, or does this have a barbeque smell to it?! Anybody?! WNBA - this particular scent.
A couple of in's to report:
1. No. 7 Melting Gel Cleanser 150ml
2. Yardley English Rose Shower Gel 200ml

Not a good month for me on the IN front as I have my Amarya box which is a lovely kit but lots of minis plus (hangs head in shame) I bought the LE offer of the month as I want to try the ltd ed c&p. I also added a foundation which looks like Vie OSFB as I can no longer get this. When I picked up my LE from the PO last night they had included a complimentary healthy beautiful skin kit so INS are :eek::
kiplingmonkey, that healthy beautiful skin kit will be great for travelling!
What do you think of the limited edition cleanse & polish? I bought this recently too!0 -

Asquith and Somerset Lavender Bath Foam 250mls poured into soap dispenser, 'cause I rarely take baths and needed some pump soap
Clinque 7 day scrub (full size) Finally gone. Not bad but not what I remember from my youth. I seem to recall it being blue and in a tub and now it's white and in a tube. Got other facial scrubs to get through.
An in, which I as a true addict can totally justify. Stop sniggering. My favourite Dior lipstick was discontinued about a decade ago, so I did what anyone here would have done. I bought the remaining stock that the Bay had on hand. Well, halfway down the last tube and I've been looking every season for a similar colour. FINALLY in their nude range colour 618 has found a home.0 -
Hello all.
I'm still doing the challenge, but in a more...distant kind of way, iykwim.
I've been super busy at work, and things at home aren't so good. So a lot on my mind at the moment.
INs thanks to mum
BS shea shower cream 60ml
BS moringa shower gel 60ml
BS strawberry body polish 60ml
a fair few UUs too :j
Clinique anti-blemish liquid make up 30ml WIBA? Possibly not anymore, really like my Stila and Benefit foundations now.
Avon naturals cherry blossom shower gel 200ml WIBA? Nice enough, yes probably.
Bodylishuss! Cranberry body scrub 50ml WIBA? No, this wasn't very scrubby.
Lacura shimmering day cream 50ml WIBA? This is way too shimmery for a facial moisturiser. I threw away the rest.
Valentino Rock and Rose couture perfume 50ml WIBA? I love this. I'm not sure if it's still made though. The last few squirts smelt a bit funny though, so it was sadly time for it to go
Cutex nail varnish remover 250ml WIBA? This was the version for false nails, and comparing it to the Boots stuff I just bought, it's rubbish. Can't believe I persevered with it for so long. WNBA.
No7 Sunless tanning naturally sunkissed moisturiser 25ml WIBA? No probabbly not, didn't give any colour at all for some reason. Maybe too old.
Clinique liquid facial soap mild 15ml WIBA? Nice enough, but others do the same job for less.
Pantene intensive masque for normal/thick hair 10ml WIBA? Did an okay job, hair felt nice and smooth, but probably wouldn't go out any buy it.
Hugs to all. xXx0 -

I haven't tried the Dr Bronners as shower gel yet but tried a little bit as a hand wash and it lathered up really quickly and felt really nice. I got the peppermint as I get sinus problems sometimes and thought it would be nice in a steamy shower to help clear them. I use Molton Brown Warming Eucalyptus for the same reason.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

afternoon ladies,
hope you are all well,
Great news about your mum Scrappie, :j
I have some uu's: UU Gok gorgeous gold body butter - have had this since Christmas, I love the scent of this but less keen on the gold shimmer, having said that would happily repurchase
uu - S&G mascara - this was a magazine freebie from a while back, it was ok, nothing special, I wouldn't go out and buy it again.
Have an In to declare - I bought a L'occitane shea hand cream using beauty card points - only had to put £1.60 to it so was quite pleased, I absolutely love this hand cream
I'm also waiting on a Liz Earle delivery from le Q but I'll declare that when it arrives
happy pampering, xo0
