Lovely set - great value esp with 10% off. Mr KM would never buy me anything like that.
I keep meaning to ask, when did your daughter start on a skin care routine? My eldest will be 11 next month and is getting a few spots so I am wondering whether to get her going with c&p. Do people think that is too soon - any thoughts/advice would be most welcome.
Well done :T a timely reminder to me that I must do better next month and not be tempted by monthly offers. I can see that I won't be doing any TSVs anytime soon as there is absolutely nothing coming up that interests me in the next month. No doubt from Nov onwards there will be an Xmas onslaught to avoid!
Hi, sorry I've not replied sooner. Work has been bedlam.
Emma probably started on a skincare regime when she was 11, it was definitely before she started secondary school. She still uses C&P, Instant Boost Skin tonic and Johnsons moisturiser. She's got better with the regime since last year as she is more body conscious now. Her skin does look lovely and she rarely has break outs. It's worth it having your daughter use something gentle like this. Have you tried the new C&P yet? I was very impressed with the smell of it when I tried it in JL last weekend.
No TSVs to tempt me. I thought I would go for the Yankee Candle one but sought out the bits that I bought in the January sales and apart from some replacement wax tarts for my burner I think I've plenty for Christmas.Hi All,
Extremely excited as first day off work and I'm not going back until 1st Oct :j:j:j:j:j We fly to Crete tomorrow afternoon, soo looking forward to it and OH definitely needs a break to relax and unwind, he's been so grumpy lately! Its a massive complex so if he annoys me I'll just reposition myself somewhere further away with my book and my cocktail(s)
Ooh you're the third person I've met who's off to Crete next week. Crete was the first place that MrM and I went on holiday together all those years ago. Stayed at Aghios Nikolaus (sp?). Great holiday although the accommodation was pretty awful. The Tour Operator went bust whilst we were out there as well.
Have repainted my nails and am wearing OPI Nein Nein OK Fine. Is gorgeous teal/grey colour. Do I need a full sized bottle do you think?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have ins I forgot to declare earlier, I bought my niece a Benefit Blusher on line from Debenhams as part of her Christmas present, it was 10% off on Sunday when I ordered, plus £10 worth of points when spending £40 on Benefit so got myself a full size The Porefessional as well,as I'm half way through my last mini one. I also got a mini Watts as a free GWP.0

Thanks for the kind words everyone, feeling very down about it. I intend to get it remarked - but this'll cost me £60 I have to pay myself and I've been warned the chances of it being marked higher are minimal. I'll have to wait 40 days for an answer, which is time eating into my studying for the next exam dates which will be January. To retake the exam costs £150, which I simply don't have and would have to fund myself.
:(
Had the following UU while away:
Decleor cleaning milk sample bottle - a freebie, probably wouldn't buy as it was expensive but it did an ok job.
INs:
Guerlain Le Petite Robe Noir perfume sample (freebie)
Bioderm skincare sample (freebie)
Dueto 4 perfume samples (freebies)
Homemade Honey Night cream - bought from a little shop while away
Clinique night serum (free with magazine)"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
Hi there, I'm sorry to admit I haven't been keeping up very well with this thread, just too busy with real life atm.
Looks like some of you are having rubbish timesI hope things improve for you all soon.
I have UU 2 shower gels since I was last here. One was the cucumbere and mint bought for holiday. WIBA?: Yes it was cheap and cheerful and did the job well. Smelled lovely too. The other was a red FCUK one WIBA?: The male species in ou house seemed to like it but would only buy again on a good offer as it was a small bottle and is expensive when bought alone.

Sorry to hear about your exam Catriona_P.
1 UU: L'Occitane Angelica hydration cream 15ml. This came from a LIB box. WNBA as I didn't like the scent - it was a nice moisturiser though, hydrating without being thick or greasy.
That means all the samples from the LIB box I got are now UU or in use.0 -
Hugs to all xxxx
Thanks asset2004, I shall avoid the shea one
Itzybitzy - how did you find out that about the Stila cosmetics? I do always worry how old the products may be generally in Poundland
mad_scientist Ahmazing - it is ridiculously difficult to finish an eyeshadow!
dolly84 - that sounds like infected eczema, it's good that it's cleared up nicely. I freakin' love sudocream! That's annoying about the fridge. That happened in my home too, with a fridge full of medicine and expensive dental whitening gel... I was gutted! Since then I have taped over that plug and the switch next to it, and no one is to remove it even if "just for a second".
Catriona_P... I'm so sorryI hope things are improving with your husband and that you find a way that is most acceptable to you to go ahead with the exam situation. What exam was it that you were sitting?
evilsquid1603 - that Zest gift is fabulous!
sunshineyday - 2225mls, hahaa have never thought of it like that! I have 1835mls plus half a kilo of soap! Oh dear!
& A UU to declare:
Lierac Coherence Lir - WNBA for myself as it is an age defense and firming cream, and I am not looking for those particular properties at the moment. However, it was really rather nice and I would recommend it/purchase it for my mum as a gift.

Have been a bit lack lustre on using up my moisturiser just lately. Decidedto use it this morning and the last bits had all dried up so have now startedanother one. This now leaves 5 moisturisers.
Also, has anyone else used Sanctuary Illumintating Moisture Lotion? It's quite runny and I'm not sure if this is supposed to be the consistency of it or just I've had it too long. I probably bought it about a year ago.Did owe £9,951.96
