The Mortgage Free in Three - Take 3 challenge (MFiT-T3)

Drum roll please.
Chart 01 in the third MFiT challenge:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?hl=en_GB&key=0AnhcWfGMRVgddE1iTjMwaFQ3Y3EtOS1GQ0NkUnUwdUE&single=true&gid=4&output=html
Firstly, due to the way the update form works in that you have to choose the chart you're providing a challenge for, instead of just getting the balance logged, it logs the chart you want to report the balance for, plus the balance.
Which means if you missed out today, you can still be updated later on. So if you have not provided an update and you're still interested in this challenge, please feel free to provide an update whenever you can.
Secondly, the formula are all based on balance reductions. Should have gave this a little more thought a little earlier, but challengers building up savings will find that their repaid, shortfall and percentage columns are incorrect. I'll address that. Probably not this evening though.
Other than that, well done everyone. Many of you in the green.
There's a few oddball looking entries - I may has mis-typed the update or there may be some other formula issue. If you could give me 24 hours before you PM me en-mass :rotfl:
Thanks again everyone for supporting this challenge. Give yourselves a pat on the back. Only 11 more to go.

Could I ask that my challenge be changed from reducing the mortgage to increasing my Offset account from £29,062 (Dec12) to £59,062 (Dec15) please? So the Mar13 figure of £3,022 gives a balance of £32,084.
Matt, Yours was one of the entries that immediately rang alarm bells as being incorrect. I've simply got to that part in the day where my brain has stopped being productive. I've just made a change to your objective and balance, but need to check this over when my brain isn't running on empty.
I know you all like your stats up to date and correct

Similar story here, great start for me but it'll be a harder slog going forward. This is so motivating though, those pennies will be finding it much harder to escape through my fingers over the next few months
Thanks for all your hard work FB.:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
Sorry I've left it a bit late to update.
My figures for the first few months are pants! There have been numerous unforseeable big spends which has meant we have been unable to save much for o/ps. The next 3 months should be better hopefully.Mortgage currently £89,663

BIG THANKYOU to FB :T for doing all the legwork sorting all of our updates out - I personally find it very motivating challenging myself to beat my target!
VERY happy to see I am at 10.18% so ahead of the target 8.33%.
The even better news is that I have just got an evening job to work around my current stay at home mum role and guess where my new wages will be going. My husband & I plan to save & overpay as much as possible in the next 5 years as we have plans to buy a bigger home and have more children
.
Onwards & upwards everyone - stay focused!
Stacey x2024 - happy, healthy, quality over quantity, buy nothing new (and 2nd hand only if NEEDED), mindful spending, nurturing myself and family, living for now.
Mortgage @ 31/12/23 £248k - too high, interest rate gone up - want this down asap!
Debt @ 31/12/23 £16k - no interest - will clear over 5 years hopefully.
Emergency savings £4k - been ransacked over last year - needs attention :-(0
