Update submitted- I phoned for my balance this morning.
I have reduced my mortgage from £199,369 to £197,788 so far- a reduction of £1581 in three months. This is by normal mortgage payments and a £33 overpay each month which rounds the monthly payment up to £1k.
I am also saving hard for overpayments, but putting them in an ISA instead of paying them off directly as they will double up as my emergency fund. I will add my savings to the total at the end of the challenge I think, as they may fluctuate throughout the years.
At the moment the ISA balance is £4560 and the amount in the instant access savings is £594. So overall overpayment pot is £6735.Slow progress is better than no progress.

I've decided to throw my update in now as I can't see me OP'ing again before the deadline date. It's an odd number though, so I think my future OPs need to keep me at round figures!
Wooh, the first update of my first MFiT challenge.0 -
Just filled out the update form...if my calculations are correct then I think I should be in the greenMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
