Tilly MFW in 6 YRS I like the idea of sweeping the pennies - i have been thinking of sweeping to the nearest £10. So if my balance is £738 I will sweep the £8. I don't know how often I would be able to do that though before my account was low3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

I have done it without a number, I think the number is when you have been allocated one and you then update you figures not for registering.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Newly registered on this site and thought I'd sign up for this challenge. Managed to OP £10k last year but will not be able to reach that target in one year again for a long time to come. But hopefully this challenge will keep me focused. Hoping to reduce mortgage by £18k in total over next three years - but still have a life along the way!0

OK. Think that's tripped a few people up, so I've added a bit more detailed comment as part of that question / part of the form:
"This is the number you have been allocated for this challenge. If you're just joining this challenge, you won't have one and can leave this question blank. Otherwise, if you do have one, please use it as it makes the administration simpler!"
Hope that helps. It's all a learning process, even for me!

Me too... Probably won't be in the position to do much saving in year one.
Got £16,000 of credit card debit - before you have kittens, it's at 0% interest, but my interest free days are ticking. Basically I took out 3 credit cards, one 15 month 0% and two 18 month 0% - spent as much of the usual spend on them as I could, then paid off just over the minimum balance, to free up income to throw at savings and eventually the mortgage.
I'm also going on a big holiday to Florida in May 2013 and that pretty much needs paying too!

Hi FB
Re the previous question, when in the past I have had savings:mad: I used to stalk the Best Buy pages for ISAs etc of the newspapers..Times usually. Worked for me and wasn't too time consuming.
Almost ready to hand in final scores on doors for MFiT-T2..quite a momentous time!
