As it only compares to the cheapest item. You can buy 3 expensives ones but it will reduce your apgMake it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Instead of getting the cheapest one free, it seems like we get charged for 2 of the cheapest (this total is then divided between the 3 items, eg. 24p conditioner x2=48p. 48p/3 = 16p each). That's how it works for the cheaper items. Get SP conditioner or gel, not the shampoo.
It's only a game

Good afternoon all. Just caught up. I don't know Fairclaire but well done for getting help and I hope he now gets the help he needs. Hopefully also the mental health person coming to see you today will be able to answer your questions and hopefully put your mind at ease on some matters.
Now, I have a couple of queries. First:Just a word of warning if you are going to redeeme a high apg. Make sure you get the receipt back as this means that staff members can go and put the number in ther computer and have a look to see why you got a high amount.djrich1975 wrote: »I understand that, but so what? we arnt doing anything illegal, all that needs to be stated is that it was purchased with good intentions and you were very surprised at the APG results. At NO point mention that you are in fact playing the system and taking advantage of a glitch!:jYeah but the stores are starting to get suspicious. They will look at the apg on their computer and see why your apg is so high. That way they will probably let your high one through but will fix the glitch on the system.
Now... I have looked on an APG voucher and it shows the store, date, time and transaction number, so surely they don't need the receipt to check high APG's anyway?
Secondly, and i really don't want to start an argument here, but those here who buy the wrong stuff and say about taking it back, I hope you don't. This is a fab glitch as have been many others. The saying 'you win some, you lose some' applies here.
We win loads, so when we lose one we should just accept it and move on, surely? Taking stuff like shampoo etc back to me is flagging yourself up in lights and is really unneccesary. Surely it is just greedy too? We can all do really well out of this, I have stuffed up twice now buying the wrong choc and wrong cheap shampoo, but I was buying stuff I would use anyway. If you are using stuff you use then you are purely taking it back because its not been had for pennies? Greed. Do another shop, get it right, do another, get it right.... move on.
If not buying stuff you will use then why buy it?
Like I say, I am really looking to canvass views here, not start an argument. The views above are simply mine, yours may differ. I'm sure we can have a discussion about it without anyone throwing their toys out of the pram?
Got my APG back last night - Milky Way stars compared at full price (£2.09). Never mind.If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0 -
Yes that me, made me. Following the advice I received here I contacted HO, but they weren't much help.:(
I got a APG from last night but am thinking of going to a Asdsa further away to use it. Maybe Celebrate area:rotfl::rotfl:
Plenty to choose from in our area and celebrates too.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -

Vallis will be the ones that can fully look into this information the store would not be able too with out the receipt with the operator number and till number on it
Yes I did make some returns yesterday and I picked the customer services person carefully. I am not that stupid to pick a assistant that will look into the transaction too closely. I did these returns over two store as well. So that is unlikely to flag it up.0 -
