I haven't bothered with the wine but with Xmas coming (lol) I could put some away for pressies. Can I ask what price the wine comes out to per bottle?
    Red 95p
    Rose 75p.
    Or thereabouts.

Good afternoon all. Just caught up. I don't know Fairclaire but well done for getting help and I hope he now gets the help he needs. Hopefully also the mental health person coming to see you today will be able to answer your questions and hopefully put your mind at ease on some matters.

Now, I have a couple of queries. First:

Now... I have looked on an APG voucher and it shows the store, date, time and transaction number, so surely they don't need the receipt to check high APG's anyway?

Secondly, and i really don't want to start an argument here, but those here who buy the wrong stuff and say about taking it back, I hope you don't. This is a fab glitch as have been many others. The saying 'you win some, you lose some' applies here.

We win loads, so when we lose one we should just accept it and move on, surely? Taking stuff like shampoo etc back to me is flagging yourself up in lights and is really unneccesary. Surely it is just greedy too? We can all do really well out of this, I have stuffed up twice now buying the wrong choc and wrong cheap shampoo, but I was buying stuff I would use anyway. If you are using stuff you use then you are purely taking it back because its not been had for pennies? Greed. Do another shop, get it right, do another, get it right.... move on.

If not buying stuff you will use then why buy it?

Like I say, I am really looking to canvass views here, not start an argument. The views above are simply mine, yours may differ. I'm sure we can have a discussion about it without anyone throwing their toys out of the pram?

Got my APG back last night - Milky Way stars compared at full price (£2.09). Never mind.

I just take the hit. I did a tommy k shop the other day that got wrecked by someone putting a bottle of squash through. If I'd been inclined to take the tk back then I would have been honest and said that is was cheaper in Tesco

As it happened the cat food on the same shop compared nicely with m's, so although I didn't get my expected APG I still got one.

The only thing I have taken back is a school jumper where I genuinely bought the wrong size.

When I read posts about people taking entire shops back, I am sometimes a little bit  but as you say, everyone is different

Is it only red or rose? It would be nice if it tasted good but its only for DD to give out at Xmas - I won't be drinking it, lol.;):p

The red and the rose compare, the white doesn't.

Think the red works out to around 95p and the rose, around 75p.

Both are quite strong, 13.5%. Of the two, I prefer the rose, but it's still quite acidic. Red would be lovely as mulled wine, or, to add to cooking.

Because the price you pay is related to the price of the cheapest item. It's 2/3 the price of the cheapest item you'll end up paying for each of the shampoos so it makes sense to buy the cheapest available - gel @ 15p or conditioner @ 24p. (doesn't work quite right for the alberto balsam though - would be 53p rather than 66p if that were the case, but still cheap).

Thanks for taking the time to answer this, makes a bit more sense now !

Edited my original post now my question has been answered.

    Thanks :)

Agree, it's best not to draw attention to the glitch so most on here will simply take it on the chin if it goes wrong or we get caught out when it finishes.
I did it twice with the Don Simons :o but hey ho...win some lose some.
All I would suggest to anyone who really can't afford to lose that kind of money is to wait a couple of weeks, by which time the glitch will in all probability have ended, and return them then. :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Hiya hun - how's the dolphins doing? I was thinking about you, and them, the other day

Dolphins are doing well thanks. Misha is near Bodrum and Tom is causing a bit of Mayhem with the fishermen in Kusadasi. There was talk of trying to move him but I think that will be a waste of time as he will probably return back there. Unfortunately the Kas dolphins are really suffering now. Its so frustrating at the moment as there is not much info filtering through.

BTW the Japan dolphin slaughters started again yesterday. Really harrowing. If you want to know what its all about watch The Cove, but be warned have your hankies ready.
Sadly once again thousands of dolphins will be massacred so a few pretty dolphins like the two remaining dolphins in Kaş can be selected to perform tricks for dead fish in small tanks, or held for maybe years in holding tanks until a dead captive dolphin needs surreptitiously replacing. You can help stop this by never ever visiting a facility with captive dolphins, telling your friends the truth behind the lies of the captive dolphin industry and signing and sharing this petition today. THANK YOU
