Hi, i did the same this morning.your apg wont be as good but in my case it compared against the £10 spent so the three items came to £10 and it compared at 16p each,so i got back £9.52 for the three items. hth

That doesn't sound bad at all... thank you. I'll report back later about 5.15pm!

Just got the results of my first ever apg shop and it worked on the shampoo & ketchup :j:j:j

I allways read about others apg shops on here but don't go to asda often but I knew we were near one today so thought I'd take the plunge !

I had a good read through of everyones posts over the last 24hours so I knew what to get and what to avoid. Unfortunately there was no smart price conditioner left so got alberto balsam instead. Does anyone know why this compares at 67p instead of 16p if you buy the smartprice ?

Not complaining at all as really chuffed with the results just wondered how it worked it out.

Thanks to all on here for posting these fab deals :A

Because the price you pay is related to the price of the cheapest item. It's 2/3 the price of the cheapest item you'll end up paying for each of the shampoos so it makes sense to buy the cheapest available - gel @ 15p or conditioner @ 24p. (doesn't work quite right for the alberto balsam though - would be 53p rather than 66p if that were the case, but still cheap).

    It's only a game

I haven't bothered with the wine but with Xmas coming (lol) I could put some away for pressies. Can I ask what price the wine comes out to per bottle?

I think it was 91p or 93p IIRC, but the prices are slightly different. Under £1 anyway. I haven't tried any yet but I dear hear that the red was fairly rank :( Not seen anyone say what the rose is like though.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

Thanks for your reply, and the info re the other missing info.

I'm still curious why you feel the need to take things back? Isn't doing more shops and getting it right, thus getting the rest for 16p instead of £5 or so enough for you?

There was not enough items on it so it did not work. Anyway chill out I used to work with the woman behind the desk. She could not give a dam what you take back. All she did was take it off the counter and throw it in a big box behind and moved on to the next customer. Don't worry the secret will not be revealed. She does lurk here too so probably knows a lot of what we do.

Thanks. I bought 5 less expensive and 1 cheap to see but my results aren't back for a little bit. I am trying to reduce my APGs 5 of the jfs would be too much for me.

Yes same here, that's why I tried it on Alberto. Now I know it works though I will calculate carefully and add couple of expensive with cheaper. I also brought 4 l'oreal elvive frizz ease this morning along with 2 sp cond in different transaction and again returned lowish apg under £8. Thanks everyone

I remember reading about an elite on here telling their relative about the glitch on the shampoo and how they were nasty about it..

Im the same I like to tell friends and relatives about any glitches...or I used to...but now I just tell the ones I do know are interested in any glitches and I dont bother with the rest...
Sometimes its too much of a hassle, and some want u to go and get it for them and wont do any of the work themselves... So why bother!!!
And lets put it this way... the less people that know about it, the better for us...IYSWIM..

Just a thought... not out to offend anyone at all....but sometimes even doing these shops I find it stressful without having to "explain" to another body about it. Takes mean ages to read through all the pages!!!
:) And then u hear them say " Im skint"" ... I wonder why!

Is it only red or rose? It would be nice if it tasted good but its only for DD to give out at Xmas - I won't be drinking it, lol.;):p

Yes it was, was just testing and wanted to keep apg low. Sure any combination will work

If you're really boring (like me) and make a spreadsheet to gloat over  , as you learn by you're mistakes the average price comes down any way.
For instance the sweet bags last week were around 34p if done perfectly.
I c*cked it up at first but my average price still came down to 42p eventually, and no attention from Mrs Trout.
