  • Also just wanted to add that there was a big sign out the front of my local T's saying they accept APG's, Brand Match, Sainsbobs conditional spends etc.

I have not yet used any Sainsbobs conditional spends in there yet but plan too, so was happy to see the massive sign as I had images of handing over a Sainsbobs conditional spend in T's and the SA laughing in my face and saying you do know this is Tosco, and this is a voucher for Sainsbobs, ye eejit! :o:rotfl:

I did get told this at Toscos until I pointed that big banner out to him, he did go a bit red when he saw it just in front of his till :rotfl: don't think I've had any problems since

    don't know who's still up..I am. I have had a bad night.
my OH has been admitted to hospital tonight, our local mental health unit. I feel totally lost. we have been struggling for a long time. he was in Iraq last year and was badly injured. he lost 2 of his friends in the same attack. he is okm but did suffer some bad injuries.

he has been struggling for a while and tonight he just lost it. and I couldn't cope any more. He was suicidal and I was, for the first time, really fearful I would lose him. So I called for some help and thankfully it was there. but now I feel really guilty because he's not here. Probably not the place to be posting this. But this thread has been a lifeline to me over the last few weeks and has given me a place to concentrate on something different

My heart goes out to you, its got to be a really difficult situation to be in but all I can say is hold on in there, hopefully a few days of professional care will help to turn him around.

For now, you've got to look after yourself - maybe get a family member or friend to stay with you a while.

Oh dear, I'm ever so sorry to read of your suffering fairclaire, that is such a tough position to be in. It sounds like you have been his support for a long time now and you have done your absolute best to love him and guide him but sometimes, we are simply not enough. Not because we don't want to be, but sometimes the specialist knowledge and also an objective point of view is needed. Please, please do not feel guilty. It's awful being at the depths of despair and to watch someone you love, go through that and to try and stay strong and brave must have been wholly draining. He is with the right people who will help to guide his thoughts and feelings back on the right track. It will be too raw right now, but in the coming days and weeks please draw strength from all that you have done and how far along the road you have carried him and use that strength to heal your wounds so that you can be strong in fighting his demons together. All he needs from you is the love you've been giving so freely already :Axxxx

:T:T You always know exactly what to say FC. Such lovely words and no doubt echoed by us all.

:o:o:o Thanks lokitty, that's really lovely of you to say:A I feel useless on the most part, in real life, everything I say, people just don't listen so it's a refreshing change and very comforting to know that my words mean something to someone. Truly, thank you xxx
