Considering the boards are clogged with stories of how RM have difficulty getting Postal Orders, birthday cards and deliveries from anyone other than junk mail providers to premises on time, would we really want the prospect of firearms disappearing into the black hole that your 17th birthday Postal Order from Auntie Mabel fell into?


Specialist courier - not Yodel, obviously - but a specialist secure carrier - should be the only way to transport these things.

I was wondering that too! RM are far from perfect, but I don't see any more complaints about them than any other service provider of that size.

Didn't say there were more RM complaints than anybody else. I suspect that HDN/Yodel get that honour.

Complaints about deliveries seem to be one of the major themes on the boards. That clogs them, IMO, especially when they are mostly vents rather than anything else.

OK, so, considering that the boards are clogged with complaints about normal delivery companies, why on earth should they be expected to carry firearms as well?

FWIW, one of my brothers works for RM and one has worked for courier companies in the past. From the stories they both tell occasionally, it's clear that expecting RM (or Yodel) to deliver firearms is a stupid idea.

And calling RM idiots for having the common sense to stop doing it is daft. It needs a specialist courier. One that specialises in secure transit.

No.

They are clogged with RM complaints. This one, for example.

And clogged with complaints about Yodel. And probably all delivery companies. Take out the RM and other delivery company complaints and this board in particular would be mostly caterpillars in salad bags and the odd dodgy builder.


And people who could start an argument in an empty room........
