  • Finally got a chance to get on and report that I am failing miserably...

I always start the term with everything sorted and promise myself things won't get out of hand and as soon as I go to work it goes to pot!

I haven't done any of my housework routine except the 'do as you go along' things like dishwasher. DD has settled into secondary school beautifully but is exhausted so hasn't done any chores either.

I have booked DS birthday party and given out some invites- so just need to hand out more, make cake and turn up.

Shoe rack still untouched and waiting for ebay listings to end today (have one bid and one item with a watcher so most it will probably end up in the charity shop).

I have written a weeks meal plan starting yesterday so need to try and stick to that.

I am on a hen night tonight so will try and catch up with housework routine today (children permitting) so I can go out guilt free!

Hope everyone is having a productive and fun weekend :)

  • Hello everyone!

I just typed a massive update post with the cat pushing into me and washing me and pressed something I shouldn't trying to correct spelling and lost the whole lot. So so so annoying!

Ok haven't the patience to re-type so will say in a nutshell:

Done lots of cleaning, sorting and tidying last 2 days. particularly pleased with boys' bedroom - even pulled out everything under bed, sorted, hoovered and put back.

Healthy eating - not so good

OSing and general MSE - good (with couple of small blips)

This week not much on to distract/interrupt me. Next week:
DH at college 2 nights a week (on own in eves with kids then and need to make him meals to heat up at work before he goes so more planning and cooking)
Kids swimming and other activities etc starts up - already had first friend over for tea since back to school
    Volunteering ditto

Glad I have made a good start anyway - warm, bright weather really helping.

Good to read others posts. pop back in soon to catch up again.

    Onward and upward everyone!
    sq:)
