Is there a link for the 20 day challenge?

That sounds good. Sort of impossible but interesting nonetheless!

I nearly did! Dragged myself away. I would follow it myself but I need to do decorating this month so will have to fit cleaning around that.

Made a good start today though...
    - I can now see my bedroom floor and get to the bed without tripping over. FInally unpacked the clothes we took away last weekend!
    - Went through the childrens' sock drawers, paired up and recycled odd ones and outgrown clothes. Gave some away to BIL for rags (DH tried to grab the bag off him, he has a HUGE tubful in the garage but didn't want his brother getting 'better' ones! Men and their rags...)
    - Sorted uniforms (still need to iron them and write names in some that I never got around to doing it last year).
    - Tidied kids' rooms a bit better than they can manage themselves (they are only little).
    - Took outgrown bike to the tip
    - did the food shop at lidl.
June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Progress is easier to acheive than perfection.

I give up....this is not one individual challenge but at the moment 24 people have joined in the challenge and it's not easy to find the thread.

Just to add my twopenneth - I agree that adding this thread to debt free diaries isn't right as its not about being debt free or an individual's diary. I have no debt either (if you don't count the mortgage.)

Still there are a good band of us on here already and there is nothing I suppose (??) to stop us from mentioning this thread when we post on other OS threads? I/we could add something to our signature to direct interested folk?

Also the good people on DFW thread who don't already use OS thread might do so and that would help them? We might be tempted to look at DFW sometimes and pick up some tips there. I tend to stick to OS so might be good to browse further afield.

It would be good if we could have an OS diary thread too.

Had a really good day today (not much towards Sept aims but a good day out in its own right :D Woburn Safari was just brilliant, seeing all those animals close up just my thing and lovely not to see animals in little caged spaces.) Good to hear of other's achievements, not starting my list properly til Tuesday.

  • Hello where is everyone today?

Just a quick post to bump thread up a bit. I haven't much get up and go today unfortunately - think due to low mood. However I am plodding on, doing few bits then coming on MSE to break up chores and cheer me up.

In middle of sorting kids back to school bits for tomorrow. 2 loads washing done and third dry and away. Dishwasher on. Eaten lunch already! Will make kids' lunch soon and plod on with odds , need to mend DS1's schoolbag.

Not doing well with healthy eating/exercise plan - just not going to happen today. Will concentrate on getting some jobs done and try and declutter at least. Tomorrow is my official Sept start so maybe feel more motivated then.

Will pop back later and see if any posts. Good luck with aims today if you're reading

    sq:)
  • Hi all

Well the craft cupboard is started and I managed to list about 20 items on eBay - nothing massive but it may bring in a few pennies.

And have lost 1lb so a quite good start.

    Have a good day

How is everyone else doing? I have put the shopping away and have put the washing on the line. The decluttering/sorting of conservatory has started but isn't going very well......just wish the declutter fairies would pay me a visit.....
  • have been decluttering and reorganising my room and the shed.

one more bag to charity shop and a load to the tip which will be in the car by the end of the evening well actually maybe tomorrw :)

The shed is done and the conservatory looks a millon times better. The guinea pigs got to go in the garden and the puppies were fine with them being in the run.

am so tired there was more....but now I must finish!

    xx
