Well done everyone - pixiedust you seemed to get so much done! hope you feel better tomorrow esmf. Welcome to sue. Tibawo - how did the new job go?

I had a lovely couple of hours with a good friend this morning (this does actually fit in with my aims ;)), did sensible food shop, laundry all caught up with (all line dried/no ironing :)) homemade teas, all basics done in kitchen etc and most important of all focused on my boys' first day back at school, all went well (think helped I was calm and organised beforehand - tick another aim today).

Still no real progress on the house aims - declutter/autumn clean/ revamp BUT some of other aims ticked. Haven't done any exercise either but have been watching my weight a little, no wine for a few days and been getting to bed at reasonable hour so all good stuff.

DH working from home next three days so will try and get busy while he is working, though meeting another friend in town tomorrow morn - will definitely do lots Thurs/Fri and report in here!

keep on going everyone! look forward to reporting on weight loss/house stuff soon

    sq:)
  • Well done everyone...looks like a lot of positive vibes are around ....lets keep it up.

I had a wonderful although exhausting day with DGD and the place does look rather 'lived in' as a result. But to have her running around calling out 'Ganma' is worth it.

Tomorrow is another busy day as I will be taking DD shopping and then back to hers before going to my quilting group in Lowestoft...then back to DD's before going to Slimming World followed by Stitch and !!!!! group....still one of the reasons for getting organised is to be able to have more days like that so mustn't complain.

Keep reporting all your achievements even if small....take care all xxx

Today I've done some gardening, washing, and eventually booked hair appointment I,ve been putting off for weeks. Thanks to this thread I,ve actually started to sort out stuff I,ve been putting off due to illness and recovering from a big operation.
  • I've been plodding along. I've managed to shred a load of paperwork, sort out a load of stuff to do carboot on the weekend, sorted out 2 junk pile hot spots, been really good putting washing out to dry instead of being lazy and putting it in the drier. Morning routine definitely makes things easier I find! Like today the kitchen is clean and ready for me to sort out dinner, rather than it looking like a bomb site and me wanting to cry rather than cook. DH took old garden furniture to tip/scrappy so garden looks tidier and we're up £10 from the metal arms off the rotted bench and chairs. Definitely feeling better about stuff. Also been sorting out finances and budgeting. But overall the FlyLady routine is what's making me feel better about things. Diet was rubbish yesterday, been better today and plan to make huge effort as of tomorrow, following the eating clean diet.

  • Hello EVERYBODY!!

Have not been on for a few days as my new year started today and I wanted to start afresh.

DD went back to school today and I took the car and the dog. She went in very well even though I got stressed as I didn't know where to line up this year. Anyway left the car up at school and walked the dog back home. I will be walking back up to school with the dog, so we will both have had 2 walks today :T. Spent this morning tidying and hoovering downstairs. Then had a cuppa and spent about an hour on the pc doing various bits (got to cut this down, however did spend a bit of time on a survery that then told me I wasn't eligable )

So now going to do a little bit of ironing and then tidy upstairs. Going to sort out DDs clothes, the summer ones will be given to a local charity shop that support a school in Uganda. The lady was telling me that one little girl lives in a sack. I came out of the shop in tears. So if I can't use it then it will be donated to that charity shop, because I know the money goes to where it needs to go. After all this it will probably be time to go and collect DD. Time does fly. 2 loads of washing will have been done. Towels in the TD the rest drying outside. Trying very hard not to use my TD too much now so as to save on my electricity bill. Mince in the slow cooker cooking ready for tea, having a use up day to try and save a bit of money on the shopping this week (doing this on a Friday now!)

Have decided that I will give all my attention to DD once she is back home up until she goes to bed. I think that this will reduce my stress levels and the guilt that I don't give her quality attention. Will let you know how I get on.

Have 4 items to put on ebay, posted all sold on Tuesday/Wednesday and the Paypal account is looking very healthy ready for Christmas presents. A great say to save I think.

    Have a good afternoon everyone!!
