Can you do an inventory of what you have in? We can then help you come up with a meal plan if you like. xButterfly_Brain wrote: »I agree with soworried threemuttleys, list what you have and we will see if we can help with a meal plan/s
Thank you both ((hugs))
I have loads (and I mean loads) in, I have a pretty good dry store and the fridge and freezer are looking pretty good, for now at least.
I have enough to make meals out of, but I know I will have to dig deep for milk (a big must, I have a toddler) and I think we will need butter.
October might be a little worrying tho..blooming cars fault!0 -

Just been looking through this thread with great interest. I remember being really worried about the veg portions, amount of fruit and veg etc. I have a 13 year old daughter and now I look at it over the course of a couple of weeks. Sometimes she has no fruit and veg in a day, so the next day I make her eat 2 or 3 raw carrots, or if she says she's hungry before dinner she can have a whole cucumber or something. She likes ceasar salad and sometimes she just has a load (and I mean a load) of salad with Ceasar sauce.
The reason I do this is because I think food groups work better on their own, ie, eating fruit/veg before meat because of how it is broken down etc. This means she can have, say, burger and chips without me having to worry whether she's going to eat her peas, or arguments etc. This means meals don't have to 'match' with the veg, and I know she's eating it, I'm not just putting it on her plate.
I'm not sure this is the right thing to do, but there is very little she won't eat. She does a healthy amount of exercise and I make her drink loads of water.0
