I know that I have posted this on another board, but Aldi super six this week are:
savoy cabbage, broccoli, 1kg carrots, 1kg white onions, iceberg lettuce and a head of celery all at 39p.
I bought two of each celery, onions, carrots, broccoli and savoy and have frozen half and dehydrated the other half.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE   £0/ £250

  • Hello all

Could I ask for your help please? Is it possible to spend £20 weekly for a family of four when your children will not anything mixed? My ds is autistic and although I am extremely lucky as he will eat most things, but he will not under any circumstances eat spag bol, shepherds pie, cassoroles or anything with the ingredients combined. Also nothing with onions, mushrooms, pulses, peppers, potatoes, beans, sprouts, offal, any soup (other than tomato) or spicy foods.

He loves his fruit and most vegetables.

If anyone can produce a menu with these restrictions for £20 I would be very very happy! :-)
