ok so breakfasts and lunches are pretty much the same, you have more spare eggs this week so i'd go with scambled egg or maybe even a small quiche for lunches, theres no spare cheese so maybe just a sweetcorn one
dinners
chilli and rice
homemade burgers and chips (using stuffings, should eaily get 8 from a packet of stuffing and egg and half a packet of mince, remeber value baps are small so 2 each, maybe 1 for kids depending on age)
chicken curry (do the same as last week with the chicken and make soup)
homemade pizza and chilli wedges (using the garlic sausage on your pizza)
beef stew (now i know 64p won't get you much meat but acually i make it with the smallest amount all the time it's more for favor, you just throw onions, carrots, spuds and beef in a pot and cook on slow all day (you can do it in your slowcooker i like mine mussy and you don't get that with a slowcooker) theres bap each left for this.
pork roast, slow roast your pork shoulder in the slowcooker, cut off a few slice each, serve with mixed veg mash and roasties and yorkshires.(you can use half the roast that should 2 thin slices each)
pulled pork, basicially while it's still hot pull your pork apart and soak in abit of the juices (then use the rest to make gravy) serve with rice, peas and sweetcorn
You carry over, flour, yeast, marmalade, chilli, mixed veg, rice, spagetti, herbs and possibly a small amount of peas/sweetcorn/gravy depending on your familys sizeDEC GC £463.67/£450

Thankyou no not quite on as tight a budget as this but want to cut down and scratch cook, when I do cornflake cakes the chocolate always splits and goes weird! Ive got some baking powder ive never used so have always had good intentions but never knew where to start, I am going to try the cornflake cakes again (fingers crossed) and found a recipe for peanut butter cookies that looks easy and doesnt use flour, im going to use value pb for this. also found a recipe for chocolate brownies made with some crushed weetabix and everyone who tried it on the thread loved it. Im thinking of getting some oats to do flapjacks, would value ones be ok? what else do you need? Having a family good luck party for my husband on saturday the 8th so want to make my own trats for the kids instead of buying stuff, doing jerk pulled pork(done in the slow cooker) baps with corn on the cobs and some salads. Would normally spend loads and do a bbq and buffet aswell but bbqs never seem to go as we want them too (last bbq I went they couldnt get the bbq kicked in till gone 9pm and everyone had gone past it by then) I am hoping to do the food for less than £25 and im going to ask family to bring different salads xJanuary Grocery Challenge £203.50/£200

How do you melt your chocolate? i pop a bowl on the top of a pan of hot water, as soon as it starts to boil i turn the hob off, and let me 5 nearly 6 year olds strire it til it's melted, so def no spitting here lol.
Baking wise i tend to stick to cookies, buns and things like cornflake buns, you could try merinages, or mini cheesecakes (just make them inside glasses and remeber you can use value soft cheese)DEC GC £463.67/£450

oh i included custard for with the crumble ect but i was just making the kids up soem custard for pudding and made me relise i was being silly and you should swap thats 17p tin for 3 6p ones that way you could have some now and keep some for next week, it's really thick so if you added enough water one packet would do 4.
