All I have time to say is - Im back!!
Nightmare few months, Murphys Law really came into affect in my house - washing machines - enough said - imagine puddles, soaked living room carpet - me not looking to borrow a dehumidifier...eugh!
Showers broke 2 weeks ago - missed delivery of new shower - have to go and pick it up after work this week from the depot 45 mins drive away  (i hope-not been before) , i hate baths, have now bought a (basics) shower/bath tap adapter with a shower head on it...slightly awkward but does the job! Just hope this fixed it-fingers crossed.:(
Have had 2 months of non stop eating rubbish, injured my foot so couldnt run - first 10k went out the window  9lbs heavier in 2 months due to eating everything in sight!? Dont know whats wrong with me
Plus side - I ordered my wedding dress!! :T Bargainous £95 from ebug! (Ordered whilst on the heavy side luckily so will hopefully be back to normal by the time it comes and not need to worry about sqUEEzing into it!!!
Hope everyone is ok and still as MFW as ever!!

Gosh - sounds like you've been busy!
Sorry to hear about your injuries and accidents, hope the festive season sees an end to negative occurrences0 -
Aw sorry about all the things going wrong- Ill bet that'll be the cause of comfort eating too- I know when Im stressed I tend to inhale chocolate!
Like the idea of your OP "tax" on chocolate - might help me too! :rotfl:
Yay on ordering the wedding dress tho! - something to definitely look forward to!!0 -
Thanks Deleted_User that chocolate tax may have to go on hold until after Christmas tho! Me and OH have booked the week after New year off so all my NY resolutions (inc choc tax) start on the 7th
Having a day with my IPP assignment today - it needs to be in tomoro night and I have been putting it off for so long. Have had OH's 30th birthday celebrations to contend with which have been taking over - so much so im not really feeling organised enough for christmas! You should see the birthday cake I made tho - amazing (if I do say so myself :rotfl: ) I will try and upload it after this.
Just tried a link from mse small things forum to a new cashback website with a £30 back for signing up to a website - its been tracked but reports are varying as for how much they are getting back - anythings better than nothing tho. That will be going into the OP pot - or the joint account as thats taken a bit of a beating recently - one of the other things to break - my car failed its MOT £105 to pay there - less than a week later, the exhaust fell off!? - another £130 to go out tomoro at the garage  ~I feel sorry for the neighbours as I will be leaving the house at 7am and the car sounds like a bombs gone off when I turn it on! Oh well!
We had our works xmas do this friday - spent £30 on drinks which I suppose could have been worse but im still a little miffed - and OH was grumbling at his spendings (we work together) when I actually think I bought more of his drinks than he realises, but i am turning the other cheek on that one - some conversations are best left unspoken! haha!
Hope all is going well with people - I best get on with that assignment - got the fun job of trying to wash my (rather long) hair in the sink later after buying one of those shower head attachments that doesnt want to work - Grr- £3.50 wasted as I have ripped open the bag so cant take back to Mr T!
HMm-maybe il treat myself to some of OH's birthday cake first..Simplify and then Simplify some more!0 -

You're a good woman - I'm aware that Mrs E is far less mercenary than I am when it comes to totting up our 'fair share'. It'll be one of my new year's resolutions to sweat the small stuff like this less, as it makes you look grumpy. I'm sure that your OH also has the best of intentions, but it's never good to look a bit miserly, even if it's in the pursuit of a worthwhile MFW goal.
Be sure and let us see the birthday cake - we can live vicariously through your baking :rotfl:0 -
Haha-Exactly, I didnt fancy being called the miser of the household.
I really have tried to upload the photo but I cant work out how - each time i try it asks for a URL? But the photos are on my laptop/phone?
Any ideas? I thought I was technically minded but clearly not on Sundays!!Simplify and then Simplify some more!0 -
URL = uniform resource locator (I think!) = where on the internet the picture 'lives'. You'd need to upload the picture to photobucket or similar, we can't see photos on your computer as they don't have a URL and are stored locally.0

For some reason the pic quality is horrendous but im new to this tumblr laark - try this http://coffeebeanx.tumblr.com/
