JustEat.co.uk Take Away Order Problem

  • I reckon it's a ploy to guarantee further orders. The same has happened to both me and another family member. Both received something different to that which we ordered and subsequently told that if we ordered again we would receive it free of charge. However, there is a minimum order of £15 so we reluctantly had to spend more money just to receive the "free" item

I had a problem order with a pizza place when I lived in the city centre, they apologised and said they would give me 50% off next time.

I thought they were fobbing me off but I called them a few weeks later and they honored the deal and me and my friends had a very cheap night in with lots of food.

I used them till the week I moved out of the city so they made their money back.

In fact if the whole meal was sub standard I would have been asking for a full refund.

It may be too late for a full refund, but not for a partial one which is what the OP is after and originally requested. Just Eat failed to fulfill their contract with the OP, that this was due to a failure between them and the restaurant is not the OP's fault.

Although the amount in question is not a lot, certainly not enough to go to court for I would complain to trading standards. While the Op's complaint on its own is not much the more complaints trading standards get the better.

Edit also posting on their facebook page is a very smart move, just make sure posts are factual.

I've been to this place before, and they won some award a couple of years ago for their kebabs. Medium donner in pitta (sauce and salad optional), £3.20. http://www.zulfis-leeds.co.uk/menu/
Standard sort of price in cities with lots of competition.
