It seems that your business only operates through ebay, and you are therefore stuck in the ebay bubble, and don't realise that their T&C's are not the law, and that the law overides them.
You know nothing of my businesses.
You also are clearly inept at reading what I have actually said.Jamie_Carter wrote: »But it isn't up to you to decide what is good and what is bad advice.
Nor you. Certainly when it's you giving the wrong advice. :rotfl:
I wonder if you are actually a troll because I cannot believe someone would realistically come on here spouting rubbish just for the sake of it.0 -
One other thing to add with reference to this.
If I use the paypal mobile app to transfer money to my bank it takes the old 2-3 working days, no mention of any hold. Its all very strange.....0 -

No I don't know anything about your business. But you don't know anything about mine either. However from your comments it appears that you know little about the subject. So instead of continually criticising other peoples advice. It might be an idea to get your own facts right.
And if you don't like what I say, then ignore me. Rather than assuming that you are the only person who could possibly be right.0 -
I think it's a bit of a myth, especially these days, that banks are giving each other interest or that they know how to invest money to earn money. I'm happy for people to rant about Paypal and others holding their funds but to say they do it for interest is not the case. If financial institutions were able to earn money on money we all wouldn't be in the mess we are.
They invest it. I know that doesn't guarantee a return, but that's what all financial institutions brokers do.0 -

My facts are totally correct.
When you are shown to be wrong, not just by me but by others in the thread(s) you don't seem to be able to comprehend. There are people more knowledgable than you.
People come on here for help and giving the wrong information is not helpful to them. Unfortunately people join to give advice and don't realise it causes confusion when they get it wrong. When you've been here long enough you see it many times, fortunately there are enough contributors who can ensure those comments are highlighted and corrected.
Being wrong isn't a problem, but continuing to preach the incorrect advice is. So perhaps take a moment to read through the Paypal and Ebay T&C. They do change and it is understandable when people misinterpret them because they aren't up to date.0 -

You have been told you are wrong by three or four regular posters but you don't see it.
It's good advice for you to go back and read the t&c on PayPal and eBay as you are lacking in knowledge. This IS an eBay board so its VERY relevant.
I've reported your post as I do feel you are becoming quite aggressive and personal.
Look, I'm not really interested in what you and your friend have to say. You have been harassing me right from the start, without any provocation. Now if you are going to comment on my posts, then at least read them so that you know what you are talking about.
If you don't like what I say, then ignore me. But I'm not going to give in to the two of you trying to bully me. This is a public forum, and you two don't own it. So go away and stop trying to harass me.0 -
Job done, post removed. :T0

It would be interesting to see if people are still receiving the 50p charge today, after they blamed it on a technical hitch, that should now have been resolved.0
