Personally I think that anyone who this happens to, should report it to the FSA.0

Hopefully you will get a result out of them.
I did a transfer this morning which took approx 2 minutes to clear my account, when there is no "review" it's fast!0 -
It seems that with business Paypal accounts they are still quoting 2 to 3 days0

For fear of upsetting you again....my business account is not quoting 2-3 days. Paypal are in the process of moving all accounts across to the faster payments method. My business deposits are in my UK bank is less than 2 hours.0 -

My business account is still 2-3 days. Looking forward to them switching me to the FPS.0 -

I'm only telling you what it said a couple of hours ago when I made a transfer.
Hopefully it's just a case that they haven't updated the text on the site, and it will go through quicker.
EDIT: Just checked my bank account, and it hasn't gone through yet. So It looks like I'm still on 2 to 3 days (regardless of what theonlywayisup says).0 -

That will be MY account, not everyone's as you seem to think I said.Jamie_Carter wrote: »

Where did I say you were on it?
I think the thing is with your posts is you miss the finer detail and give the wrong info.
Attention is in the detail.0 -

Attention is in the detail.
I think you are far too argumentative. And try to turn all posts into a battle.0 -
I have spoken to Paypal this morning to ask why I was still on 2 to 3 days (which often used to end up as 5 or 6 days). And they said that most had been changed over, but some haven't yet.
I personally think they are just delaying what they have been ordered to do by the FSA, especially with accounts with large value transactions.
I also asked about the 24 hour hold for security checks. And he said that they can hold any transaction, as we all agreed to it when we signed up. But he couldn't explain why they have suddenly started doing this with many more transfers.
Then I asked about the 50p charge, when they say that the bank have refused the transfer. First of all he said there was no charge, and then he back tracked. He then said that it was when the bank refused to accept the transaction. I challenged this saying that there would be no reason for the bank to refuse an inward payment if Paypal were using the correct bank details that they had used many times previously.
So it looks like Paypal are yet again making it up as they go along. So I urge anyone who has problems with Paypal on a similar issue, to contact the FSA.0
