got all the information together and posted back to the OR, a lot I didn't have but put a note as to why not, (ex binned most of my paperwork before I could retrieve it!) the one that is a bit of a concern is the request for bank statements for the last year, no problem in giving these but I did not get paper ones sent to me as was "online" only with the bank, told them last week when they phoned chasing a loan payment that I had gone BR and they have locked me out of online access to my account so was not able to print these off, phoned them and they want £5 per sheet to provide statements, told them to exit stage left and explained in letter to OR so we shall see what happens next.
But at least goes to show that banks are still Robin Bar Stewards when you are BR:)

Phew! that is the phone interview with the OR over, was pooping myself before the phone rang, but it was nothing to be worried about, very calm nice chap, explained what would happen in the interview, not to worry if he went quiet as he would be making notes, long story short we went through the SOA in detail, he asked a few clarification questions, explained how the nil tax code worked, went through the outgoings, had questions on a couple but was very reasonable and agreed to one or two above the "norm" but cut a couple of others and added in a couple I didnt have at all, in the end the OR's calcualtion of the outgoings was £10 more than I had put.

Have a couple of bits of additional information to send in, will await the IPA letter from them to peruse.

A couple of tips for your phone interview, some already covered.
1. Have a drink to hand, its thirsty work talking for an hour and the nerves at first are a bit drying.
2. Have a wee beforehand!
3. Make sure your cordless phone if you are using one has a good battery and will last the hour and a bit, I was frantic switching between handsets half way through, but luckilly don't think he noticed,:)

are they actually called Moon Beaver? so many jokes in that name or am I just odd :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I just heard Moon something so assumed beam, guessed watched to many Airplane films as a kid!

Long time since I have been on here, having been discharged (but still with IPA of nearly two years) - I still lurk.
Where has dojoman gone? I thought he used to do the monthly club (I did say its been a while since I've been on here). :question:

Hiya TTDQ, Dojoman is still around bumps the Welcome thread but is busy at present so I'm just filling in for him.
