Guess I will be the first then

After a basically crappy time since being made redundant in 2009, lower paid jobs and !!!!less ex-wife etc presented my Bankruptcy to the Court on Friday and at 12:38 (precisely) was made Bankrupt, for me the feeling of release was fantastic, annoyed with myself for not doing it a year ago, but now can see the end of owing money to companies, not scared of the doorbell or the phone ringing, if anything looking forward to the first chasing phone call being able to tell them I am BR and they can exit stage left.:):)

look forward to your new life, you will gets loads of support on here, these people are amazing and I for one cannot thank them enough, my 2nd appointment with O.R on wednesday hope to know about car and ipa then fingers crossed x,

Only me then! :) start of the month and the "usual" round of calls from creditors wanting to review payments and also "we couldn't collect the direct debit/card payment" felt oddly good to be able to deflate them with a "I was declared bankrupt last week, here is the number, you will hear from the OR at some point" from the reaction of some this isn't on the flow chart of the script they have in front of them.
Now hoping that the OR is a dog lover as have been left 6 to care for when we seperated and have included the cost of these on the SOA
