It's a BACS problem, so probably won't be a particular bank involved. I'd be interested to know how many BACS payments would usually credit on the last Friday of the month, ie is this going to be the majority of payments going wrong or only a small percentage?

well i was settled down in front of the tele to watch david tennant :grinheart on graham nortons show ,when oh rudely interrupted me and told me about this bacs glitch......thought id post it on here to help warn folk......

my oh and I are due to be paid tomorrow so will be a bit of a disaster (or unlucky) if it affects both of us. makes me mad that this sort of thing happens but i guess we gotta live with it :mad:

eep, this just prompted me to check my bank balance to make sure i had enough in it already, got a bit of a shock, this new flat has drained my cash like no-one's business

We both get paid tomorrow be interesting to see if we get anything luckily the budgeting has gone well this month and we both have fuel in the cars and about about few quid left between us so should see us through the weekend if we don't get paid.
Still a pain though

well if it affects my oh and i....will be interesting to see how much money we're left with at end of april..if we aint got it for 3 days we cant spend it

It says that any charges will be refunded if you go overdrawn or bounce a DD because of this. What about any fees that the companies that want your cash charge, and ultimately your credit rating that may show missed / late payments.
