Batteries replaced in not 1 but 4 annoying baby toys they both love to play with.. no peace in here!

2nd binbag filled from the loft and a huuuge pile to ebay.. I have some pics from DD2's 2nd birthday I just found and Tiddles baptism certificate.. so put that somewhere safe.

I have a pampers box of wooden blocks, a box of lego a large box of people & animals, a bag of pencils, a box of dolly clothes, 2 tesco crates of Happyland and a box of brio. I must have thrown out 10,000 bits of rubbish.. it was seriously manky stuff too.

    WM x2
DW x3 ... just going to load it up with Happyland and see what I can throw at ebay!

OH is going to help me measure up fabric shortly so I can throw that at ebay! I relisted a few bits earlier and even though 1 ended this morning it has a bid! I swear some people are mad.. I also sokd a skirt I thought would never sell and 2 tops that didn't sell at 99p each but have gone for £4.75 for the 2 together.. go figure!!

Anyway.. Happyland in DW and washing in from line..

Apparently the 17 boxes from the loft have barely scratched the surface.. :(

I have found DS2's first shoes though so I can measure up for box frames for them. I am going to frame them and hang them on the kitchen wall.. cos I am odd like that!

    Evening all

Most of the day spent in the front garden doing some serious prunning. DH has taken most of it to the dump. Still need to pick the rest of the plums and prune the tree but then all the heavy work out front is done, still all the borders to do - being a corner detached house we have rather a large front garden.

2 beds changed, last bit still drying on the line, a mound of ironing to do later to.

    Piggery is fabulous... :D

I am just sick of living in squalor.. the girls are away until Monday so I decided the crap that has been in the loft was getting sorted.. It is mainly toys that have been up there nearly 6 years! I would LOVE to have the motivation to bin absolutely every bit of gubbins lying around.

I have completely trashed the girls room!

    Evening all

It took me ever such a long time to get going today. Hairdressers at 10.30 followed by a quick trip to Mr M's and in search of shoes for work - no luck with that.

DS2 and I went up into our little town to collect my prescription. The charity shop was shut, but the 2nd hand shop still open. Came home with another blouse for work, a smart jumper for work (made in Scotland :D) and a football top from out local team for DS2 (well, when he grows into it) - all for the grand total of £5. :T

Washed the clothes and put WM on with towels. Re-homed a few bits and did tea, chucked rubbish out. DS1's GF is coming home with him tonight, so I'd better do a few more bits.

Need some advice, please. I still need work shoes (court shoes, low heel, preferably black, need to be comfy and last well). I'm on my feet most of the time and - according to guidance - should wear tailored trousers or skirts. I don't have a massive budget and prefer to try shoes on. For the last few years I've bought a particular style from a cheap chain store, but they've changed it and I threw out the last pair at the end of the school year. Don't know where to start, so any ideas would be appreciated.

Going to tidy the kitchen and see what else I can do. :D

ETA Pigpen - I love the idea with the shoes. I still have a pair from DS2, but not sure about DS1. Fingers crossed.
