  • Well Ds and DH's cricket team have today won the League! they have been decluttered down the pub to celebrate!

DH has for the past few seasons won the bowling award at the prizegiving night - this year his main competition is DS! Today DS took 4 wickets and DH took 6! And DS was very proud of his dad when he announced that DH had only bowled 9 balls..... I would have liked to have seen that ( unfortunately they were playing somewhere out in the sticks today!)

Framing their shoes WHAT a good idea.

Much nicer than having them in a box in the loft.

  • Good evening :D

Not much flying again today :o Bad flylady!!

Went to my art club (didn't do much drawing either :o) but caught up on the gossip :) DH took the dog for a looong walk (he wouldn't settle last night after the fly incident - he is such a wuss!) so he has spent the day sleeping (the dog, not DH :D) DH then cut the grass :T We did the food shop this afternoon, and I picked up my new glasses.

I spotted a very large cobweb on the light fitting in the kitchen, so DH got rid. We then noticed how disgusting the glass bits were around the bulbs (spotlights) so DH cleaned them all (I can't reach, even with the stool as we have high ceilings :p)

I think I will go to bed now, and start again tomorrow. DH has suggested we go through ALL the money stuff tomorrow (after our conversation yesterday). I won't hold my breath, as he has been promising this for the last year or 2  (his ex used to control all the money and hand out money to him to spend - even for presents, etc! So he is a bit 'possesive' of his money - if that is the right word) However, we have been together for 17 years, and he knows I am not like that!
i also need to do some work tomorrow :(

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them. Night night all x
  • off to bed when ive finished my cuppa, feel s*** thanks to AF side affects but no AF :( hopefully will feel better in the morning and will get some more stuff done ready for next week. we have a few busy-ish weeks the next few weeks, got a hospital appointment letter through yesterday, must remember to write it in my diary x night night all, hugd to those that need/want one xx

Is anywhere selling 2013 diaries yet? I need a day per page.. i've seen week per page ones but they are useless to me... sorted that.. thank you ebay!

What is the best way to wash duplo? I am quite tempted to put it in a pillow case and throw a bunch in the washer ever time I do a load.

    Morning all

Been up for a good while, AF getting over excited at 5am didn't help and I've got a headache, either AF or more likely from my shoulders from all the pruning yesterday.

CY - well done to DS and DH and their team

Need to finish clearing up from all the prunning today and another trip to the dump will be required. Bed sheet will need washing again after AFs party plus a mound of ironing.
