My house is a skip.. I have completely trashed the girls room with my loft clearance!!

my sinuses are quite irritated today by the soot and dust from the loft too which is not nice.

I'm not sure how many hours I think are in today but I want to get the rest of the loft stuff sorted and wash the Happyland, measure a mountain of fabric for ebay and get it listed! And get the ebay stuff parcelled.

    Good morning all...

Piggers - CAn the Duplo go in the dishwasher too, or chuck it all in the bath with some biological washing powder and leave it to soak?

I have listed two things on Ebay, but two things are better than no things... Im sure if I put my mind to it, I can find a lot more to go on :)
The washing is all done but the ironing is waiting. :o
Bought LO a new waterproof/windproof hillwalking-type jacket yesterday for school, so he will be fine! Just need to find a cheap one for me!

I need to clean the bathroom this morning and then mop through everwhere before I go to work so I best get on... will think about compiling myself a new list as I go! :D

    Have a good day xx

    Piggers - re the duplo

I have washed lego in a laundry bag (a net one) in the WM - didn't bother with a high spin IIRC then spread it on a towel, outside, to dry. It was astounding how bright it looked. Biological powder should take care of any icky bits!

Oh, see.... Valli is for more sensible with the Lego ideas than me! Doh! lol :rotfl: Well, its early on a sunday, what can I say...

Ok, have complied a new list and scarily enough it would be sensible to start it with
    • Learn to drill holes and buy a drill...
There are a million jobs needing done like mirrors to go up, toilet roll holders to be fitted, racks for the kitchen, curtain poles etc... A handyman wanted £70! which in fairness to him may indeed be reasonable - but its still £70....

Im off to watch some B&Q vids on youtube then check out Ebay :)

  • oH decluttered to an all day cricket match ( tomorrow he'll be unable to walk!), DD2 and DS still both asleep. DD1 is getting ready to do an extra stint at the CS as they put out the winter stock.

I must find the letter with the deatails of tomorrow's training on!

I have added one to my list... it was on the how-to video that I watched. Thanks :D

I already have some of the things, but need to buy the drill, bits, plugs and screws so have added the stud/wire/pipe detector to my list! Off to Ebay now...
