  • Goodintentions at least you have found out what is getting your DH down and can start to deal with it together. Will you get the money back? Hopefully he has learnt not to keep secrets from you now.

Mummyyof5 thank goodness you called. It's heart stopping when you read something like that isn't it. I'm pleased things worked out for you.

Well, after what was meant to be a short trip to the soft play yesterday, we didn't end up back at home until 8.00 so not much FLYing happened. I'm not too bothered as they only have one more weekday before they go back to school and I want them to have a good time.

My Tesco trip turned into a complete drama yesterday. I left home at 9.45 and didn't get home until 12.00  The boys were total terrors going around the shop and then I had to pop DS1 into the optician to get his glassed adjusted. 10.50 I walked into the optician and I walked our at 11.30 :mad: I was steaming mad. People pushing in the queue, staff having rants about their appraisals - after we were finished I pointed out to the Manager that maybe they should all have time management and customer service out on their appraisals. 60 seconds his glasses took to do. I think I was more annoyed at myself for waiting but I didn't know when else I'd have a chance to do it. Sorry about that, feel better now. :A

So as for Tesco taking up my whole morning and soft play the whole afternoon, my list looks like this:

Wednesday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Level 1
    Vacuum the floors

    Level 3
Polish any glass bits.. table tops, lamps, mirrors etc
Declutter and wipe the bedside tables... or whatever area you use as a dumping ground!

    Thursday bathroom and study
    Level 3
Clear the desk, now dust it (behind too if you can)
    Wipe the tiles
    Extras
    Wipe radiators, shelves and paintwork

Friday - Kids rooms, Spare rooms or another neglected room
    Level 1
    Declutter and vacuum the floor
Tidy away all the toys and clothes and games and books that are in the wrong places - get those responsible to help
    Level 3
    Dust and deweb
Wipe over the bedframes and paintwork
    HHI
    Extras
Starting thinking about Autumn, plans for the garden (bulbs?), does the chimney need sweeping, the threshold repainting, boiler servicing etc

    My extras are:
Merge some work documents and read
Write 2 pages of copy for new website
Go through school websites for work

Hope you all have a lovely day :D
    Declutter challenge - 81/1500 (5.4%)
    Make £2,021 in 2021 - £148.95/£2,021 (7.3%)

Morning all. My GUAG left me after a day out yesterday. I'm really in holiday mode now after a week and still a week to go. So I am on here to write what I need to do, hoping that I will actually do it.

    In no particular order:

    Eat
    Shower/dress
    Walk dogs
    Menu plan for week
    Clean fridge
    Do weekly shop
Vacuum cream rug, lovely black dog hairs all over it. Obviously its ok to roll on it when I'm out!
    Bathe dogs
    MUST do some gardening
    Sort out recycling
    Wash up
    Get washing up to date

    Already done:

    Fed dogs

    Will update later.
Spend less now, work less later.

I'll join you in the garden as soon as I've had breakfast and got dressed, Jazee. There are some rain clouds on the horizon, but fortunately DH :A mowed the back lawn as well as the front lawn while I was out food shopping yesterday evening, so the showers won't bother me - in fact, it will help to bed in the pansies that I have to plant out.

With 2 days out, I haven't flown a lot this week, but I have managed to finish the website draft and the house has stayed quite clean and very tidy with only minimal S&S'ing. :D

Hope everyone has a restful / productive / happy day.

DW on.. it needs at least 1 more run though then I can wipe surfaces and fold the dry laundry.

Cuppa made while OH fed Dot... I'll go run them a bath and he can scrub them while I reshuffle boxes to go in the loft.

FFP.. told you so! I wouldn't eat it when it had just been delivered it is just disgusting.
