Ooh... I got a text from KH earlier saying he had booked Sunday night so he will pick up Friday and bring back Monday.. which is what I suggested in the first place as it fits in better around the childrens activities.. :D ... DD3 now has to go to her friends and tell her she can't make Monday for swimming after all and ask if they can do Tuesday instead!!! I just want a peaceful life is that really too much to ask? He turned up at the house hoping to intimidate me into backing down I am sure!.. it didn't work!

Another christmas present arrived for OH today.. :D and I have a list who to buy for and what I have got for them.. most pleased with my christmas progress.. Done DS1, DD1, Squeak, Dot and half of DD2.. I'll finish her off and then do DS2.. I am a bit stuck on what to get the 2 small pinks.. (8 and 10) and DS3 is having a laptop and DD3 is having a phone and clothes and slap and nail polishes etc. she willl be 12 the week before christmas but thinks she is 25 already! .. Then I can sort everyone else starting with grandbeasts and niece.

Just had to share, littlest moo has done her first wee on the potty! I'm taking it on hol with us to keep up the momentum, lol.

She has been sitting on it but not long enough to catch one, but tonight was happy to just be there. She said

    "I a toilet. Like mummy"

    lol.

Shame she had a press stud vest on and it dipped in :D

when the Vallikids were little I was rubbish at taking pictures etc but what I DID do was write down some of the things they said (with background)

I love to read that notebook from time to time

(DD however, who STILL comes out with 'blonde' things on occasion, has BANNED me from sharing them lol)

    get yourself a notebook, Bossy!

'I a toilet like mummy' - lovely picture

I would give that little Moo the biggest squeeze...

    precious times! enjoy!

    Morning all

It has finally stopped raining here, how long for though who knows. Off to strip our bed in a minute and I have heaps of washing to catch up on too.

May find time to clean the bathroom before I go out if I don't get distracted on here!

    Morning everyone :D

Welcome back Dusty and well done to Little Moo! I keep a notebook of little things too. Wish I'd done it a bit earlier (mine are 4 and 5 now). I forget things so easily :o

This is how my list looks for the day:

Wednesday - Master bedroom and Landing

    Vacuum the floors
    Level 3
Polish any glass bits.. table tops, lamps, mirrors etc
Declutter and wipe the bedside tables... or whatever area you use as a dumping ground!

    Thursday bathroom and study
    Level 1

    Clean sinks and toilets
    Level 2
    Hoover and mop the floors
Defrag pc.. delete 50 unwanted emails and 10 dead/unused links
    Level 3
Clear the desk, now dust it (behind too if you can)
Wash the shower curtain/baths mats etc if required
    Wipe the tiles
    Extras
    Wipe radiators, shelves and paintwork
[STRIKE]Label any back to school stuff
Are those pencil cases ready for action[/STRIKE]
    15 minutes filing & shredding

    My extras are:

    DW
    WM x 1

  • Good morning :D

I didn't get on here yesterday as i was working all day. I have been catching up on last week's thread, and have joined the FB group :) Managed to get 1 load of washing done yesterday and hung out. DH has been wfh & set up in the summerhouse, so he got the washing in when it started raining as he noticed it before i did :T Went to the nature reserve in the morning with Little Miss Sunshine & Miss T to pick some blackberries. Not very many this year :( Last year there were loads from July to October!! Not enough sunshine this year I guess. Might have enough to make a bit of jam.

DH said he is going to phone the doctor again re counselling or something. They have sent him for blood tests, ecg's etc to make sure it is not physical. I don't think it is physical - the tiredness etc is a symptom of BD, rather than the cause of it with him, IYSWIM. I think his work has a lot to answer for. He told me on Saturday (when we got back off holiday) that there was pressure on him to cancel the holiday before we went  Some managers had had their leave cancelled already  He hadn't told me before, because i would have gone ballistic & phoned his boss :p The only reason we had booked that holiday (it was expensive) was because he had worked ALL Christmas & New Year, away from home :mad: And most weekends, evenings, BH's etc since!! That was why he didn't want me to put anything about the holiday on FB before we went, incase the other managers got wind of it!! I haven't put any photos on there yet :( Not even the dolphin ones!

Bins have all been done, food bin emptied & put in DW. DW started. Going to have a quick bit of brekkie before Miss T arrives, then it's toddler group. Working until 1, then taking DD1 back to Uni (Ipswich) after DD2's orthadontist appt. I haven't seen her new flat yet.

    Ok. Off I go....

    Morning All

I've already been out and about this morning as I got a phone call from my mate to say her DH had been rushed into hospital with a suspected heart attack in the early hours of the morning and could I pick her up from the hospital. So fingers crossed it's nothing serious. I've got Beavers all afternoon today so I've got about 3 hours before I need to go out.

Jobs that need to be done in the next 3 hours!

    Walk dog
    Print some more leaflets
    Write a report for ABSL
    Hoover LR
    Wash dishes
    WM x ?
    Find camera
And whatever else I manage to get done!

    Have a good day all
