Piggers you know perfectly well you're not being unreasonable. Look at the long trail of changed arrangements, wanting them then not wanting them then wanting them at a different time then changing his mind again at the last minute, etc, etc, ad nauseam..... he's doing it to wind you up.
If I make an arrangement with someone, I expect it to be set in stone unless there is an exceptionally good reason for changing; and I expect reasonable notice of changes. This goes for Mr LW's shifts as well as anything else... hence him checking with me if it would inconvenience us to help out his colleague later this week (it won't, and I've said it's fine).
I don't think I'm unreasonable, so there's no way you are.
I did my WiiFit,:T and I've got the pizza base done now, just need to construct the topping.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I dont't think you're being unreasonable. He'll probably change his mind again anyway the stoopid kh.
Parents like this make me so mad. My friends ex is a kh to their daughter too. He's not even bothered with her birthday this week. She's only 5. Git.
My OH would have given anything to have been able to be a parent to his children, these kh's don't know how lucky they are. Grr.Bossymoo

Hi again! I haven't quite managed to quote Lamewolf properly in my post, above, but thought she was so funny!
As I type this the repair man is here and we may have working appliances!! Keep your fingers crossed!! However, it seems that the guy just looked at the TD and it started working on its own, so that shoildn't cost much!!
I'm sorry that so many are suffering (or have an OH suffering) with the BD. And so many suffering with hated jobs, what is it that some firms/bosses think it's okay to intimidate or bully staff? I do hope things turn around soon for all the lovely people on here.
I had my screening and we went into a lovely deli that is near the centre and treated ourselves to hot barbeque chicken and some YUMMY home-baked granary bread. Got some vine tomatoes and salad and dashed back and had a super lunch! And no work today!! Going to change the bedding and test the washer now! (once he's finished - he's now having a cuppa and OH is picking up DIY tips!!!)
You all sound so busy, but I'm having a quieter day here, and I don't care, am going to enjoy it!!!! Good wishes, R x0 -
Everything's gone well so far today. We were only a few minute late getting to DS2's friend's house and his mum made us a coffee, so we had a quick chat. Buns were much appreciated.
DS1 got to work on time and I've just got back from the GP surgery. Decided to have a quick lunch and now I'll put the second lot in the TD before collecting DS2. We'll need to stop at the farm for eggs and then I've got to move all the clothes out of the LR so DH will feel encouraged to iron tonight.
Lousy weather still - not even the cat wants to go out.
sort dry laundry and put away what doesn't need ironing WIP as they need a quick spin in the TD
take three dresses to small 2nd hand boutique was shut
[STRIKE]grab a coffee in fav cafe in same village while I'm there [/STRIKE] decluttered a chat with a friend who works there (they weren't busy)
[STRIKE]GP appointment[/STRIKE]
sort tea taken bacon out of freezer
Buildings&Contents insurance research/renewal
collect DS1 from work, but no idea yet when he'll finish
Will add the rest of the list when we're back.0 -
