Welcome Viv, look forward to "seeing" you next week :D

Not doing too badly. In the last HC I have:

Wednesday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Level 1
    Vacuum the floors
    Level 3
Polish any glass bits.. table tops, lamps, mirrors etc
Declutter and wipe the bedside tables... or whatever area you use as a dumping ground!

    Thursday bathroom and study
    Level 1
[STRIKE]Clean sinks and toilets - water emptied out and hardcore bleach applied. Probably leave to soak most of the day :o[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    [STRIKE]Hoover and mop the floors[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
Clear the desk, now dust it (behind too if you can)
[STRIKE]Wash the shower curtain/baths mats etc if required
    Wipe the tiles[/STRIKE]

    Extras
    Wipe radiators, shelves and paintwork
    15 minutes filing & shredding

    My extras are:

Fold up and put away underwear x 2 baskets full :o
    [STRIKE]Sort out my clothes draws[/STRIKE]
Sort out DH's clothes draws - 3/4 of the way there

Also had to bring in the washing off the line and put it on the airer. It didn't feel any drier than when I put it out :mad:

My sister is coming over to take the boys out for a couple of hours (cries at the thought of some peaceful hours without them ;)) so I will try to finish the list in that time so I can put my feet up later.
    Declutter challenge - 81/1500 (5.4%)
    Make £2,021 in 2021 - £148.95/£2,021 (7.3%)

How did you both get on optimistic-mummy and funfairprincess? It's funny how much easier I find it to keep going for a whole half hour when I know I've got company but can't manage it otherwise!

My "HHC" turned into 45 minutes scrubbing the bathroom. I'm ashamed to admit it hadn't had more than a S&S for several weeks :o At least the faint smell of wee has gone now after a thorough scrub of the toilet, floor, wall tiles, skirting boards,... (boys with terrible aim!!) :o:o:o

My lists are now looking like this...

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    All done :j

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    All done
    :j

Wednesday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust and deweb.. don't forget the bedframe and light fitting![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Polish any glass bits.. table tops, lamps, mirrors etc[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Declutter and wipe the bedside tables... or whatever area you use as a dumping ground![/STRIKE]
    Extras
[STRIKE]Choose jobs from your own lists or me time[/STRIKE]

    Thursday bathroom and study
    Level 1

    [STRIKE]Clean sinks and toilets[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    [STRIKE]Hoover and mop the floors[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Defrag pc.. delete 50 unwanted emails and 10 dead/unused links[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Clear the desk, now dust it (behind too if you can)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wash the shower curtain/baths mats etc if required[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe the tiles[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    [STRIKE]Wipe radiators, shelves and paintwork[/STRIKE]
Label any back to school stuff
    15 minutes filing & shredding

Aarghhh kids driving me mad. They are just annoying each other (and me). And fighting. Have fed them, put littlest moo to bed (think she was being scratchy from tiredness) and sent DS to play in his room. I've now got a clean bed, and having a lie down. Told DS to get in his own bed when he's tired. Hoping for a three-way nap.

Apparently they don't like macaroni cheese. They like pasta. And cheese. But not pasta and cheese. I think they do it on purpose. So, to spite them, it's chicken casserole for tea. With veg. Ha.

Why is it whenever I try to post someone or something requires my attention- it has taken me most of this morning to do this post. The trouble is I can't ignore door bells, phones or DH. Ah well that is my moan for today, not really importaant in the scheme of things.

Despite the above I've not done too bad as not a lot left to do.
Actually now the sun is shining, I might do a bit of weeding. When it is a choice of flying in the house or garden the garden wins each time.

    Afternoon all

I did manage to clean the bathroom before I headed out and put the WM on.

Decluttered a get meeting with another Governor who's role I'm taking on.

Chatted with 2 neighbours on my way back home.

Out again in an hour so need to decide on dinner for tonight and sort out lunch for DS2.

    Debt-free and Proud!
I'm off to a slow start today as I accidentally fell asleep on the sofa last night, then woke up with a neck ache and had to trundle myself off to bed at around 4am. Fortunately hubby got up and took himself to work :j and doesn't seem to be in too much trouble about yesterday so that seems to have worked out okay. Going to have another tea and crack on with my list. Hope the flying's going well
