Hi
I have a day off woo hoo first one for ages and guess what I am doing yep you guessed it listing on Ebay
My target today is to list 25 items I do the same as you buy and sell on so I am always ducking and diving as my dear old mum used to say.
Best one I had was a pair of boots I purchased at a bootsale for £3 and they sold for £130  I nearly had a heartattack but have had many really good profits so keep it up if you can find the time to buy as that is my biggest problem.
Keep it up you are doing fantastic :T

Hi Mav,
have made around £30 this week extra for my pot. and of course the extra shifts ive picked up will show at the end of the month so thats good. Ive clicked on at work and some of the staff think im a easy touch they all keep asking if i will change shifts or work their shift for them but ya know when ur being taken and im not that stupid. im not work shy but im no walk over either, so im keeping a eye on it.
Only on a four hour shift tomorrow and rest day friday so im looking forward to doing a bit of ebaying, im trying to add a couple of items a day. so to keep a return coming in. my little cash pot is growing and my Dh eyes are too! he's amazed i have created a whole new view on money, I actually think twice now if im buying anything that i do not actually need. im a impulse buyer and its hard to resist, but the feeling of resisting is good. :rotfl:.
My food shopping has been nil since food shopping on sunday, making good use of the lovely beef slow cooked stew, thats made two meals for two over two days. thrifty. ehh?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me and heres to many more chats  much love xx.0 -

Honest you could be me or I could be you
My work is the same always "can you swop or can you do this that the other shift ":) And if I ever ask to swap I get oh I am really sorry I am going out /doctors/dentist/watching the paint dry -delete where applicable :rotfl:So I am wise to that now:D
Thats great about the £30 extra this week and glad DH is on board and is impressed with your efforts.
I started this journey when I found 21 unopened bank statements hidden in a drawer and I closed my eyes at the ATM as I never knew if it would let me have any money:eek: As I am an reformed(ish) impulse buyer .
My Ebay stuff is up to £35.99 and not ending till Sunday so pleased so far. With another 12 listings starting tonight for 10 days.
Hope you get good bids on your stuff

You're doing great!! Funny the difference an attitude change can make!!
Good for you too for sticking up for yourself. Typical, eh? They find someone seemingly always willing to say 'yes' to shift changes etc, but when the shoes on the other foot you hear all the excuses of the day. Not fair at all! Keep yourself right on that oneWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

Work at the moment is a pain in the bottom. everyone moaning about their job, i cant be doing with it at the moment so i just try and do my work and do my job.. and go home, im on a couple of night shifts this week so at least im out the way and can keep check on my ebay more.....
monthly payments have come out the bank and the debts seem alittle smaller this month, im considering paying the smallest off to get it off hand. £2 money pot is growing fast, never thought i got that many coins in my change but its nice to hear it chink into the savings pot. thats for next years holiday or a real emergency if one does come along. heaven forbid.
Your ebay seems to be giving u good returns. keep up the good work and i like your style with the work situation. im going to be the same next time someone asks me to swap. im on the rota for every weekend. its not on. will be going to the boss next month if shes done it next month. catch u later in the week to see how your doing. much love xxxx.0 -
Its Monday and im ill. cant sleep cant breathe. sore throat. so im awake half the night. i must be good for work so plenty of pain killers and fluids for me.
checked my ebay and 3 items have sold, happy happy. its the start of my week so hopefully will have another one to add by the end of the week.
Have decided this week no extra shifts as been feeling tired. so will make my extra cash by sourcing items, for re selling. my son as given me a bag full of mens jeans, branded. so hopefully get a couple of pairs onto my ebay today. cash pot is still being entered but lost count how much is in it, also £2 pot is looking good, tried to keep a tag on it. but will be a good surprise next year when full. id like to guess how much the pot actually holds. be nice for about £300 i think. fingers crossed. Xmas is coming so now need to think about a decent present for each of the kids and grand kids, Dh too. i normally splash out and buy them around 4/5 gifts each but this year, No its a amount per person i think, time to pull the belt tighter. Christmas i love but i seem to send xmas cards and not get many in return, some people are now saying they dont bother with christmas cards, so im thinking of joining their club, just send immediate family. if i can get away with it. more money to spend on the family than ungratefull mates.
really need to be more organised so thats going to be my next major effort. hope everyone are doing well with their challenges and id like to hear from you soon. much love xxx.0 -
Hi pantherchick. Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather today. Had a bit of a rough week/weekend myself. Started Wed when I woke up feeling like I'd hangover (without the benefit of actually having drunk anything!!) Struggled through work til end of the week with sore throat, streaming nose, sneezing, chesty cough, achy all over and itchy eyes. Thankfully with an overdose on vitamin c plus lots of cold and flu tablets, I'm feeling more 'human' today!
That's great you've got more stuff for ebay! Thanks son!!
Your savings pots are doing well too. Nice to not keep a track actually so that when you do count it it's a great surprise!!
