  • Morning peeps!

ETO - thanks for the gentle nudge up the rear end. I think it has worked it's magic for the week coming.

I'm going to pledge £70.00 for the week and am hoping to have a few NSD's in that.

    Good luck everybody :D

    Hi all

I'm back from my holidays and I'd like to pledge £40 for everything. I'm taking nephew no 2 to cinema today and then the other nephews to swimming on Thurs. The rest of the week shouldn't be too bad. I'm now going to pootle over to the NSD challenge and sign up for it.
  • Know it's a bit early to post totals but have been out and done for the day. Very proud of myself, drew £10 out of the bank determined to not spend a penny more. Walked around the aisles grabbing what I needed and tallying it up as I went along, and found I had 3 pounds left after everything I needed so decided to "treat" myself and bought notepads and pens so I can record spends, food inventory and meal plans :D

£9.12/£70.00 (88p in the savings tins)

  • Total of £16.90 for the week, potted £3.10.

Fairly pleased with that, but need to try harder. Am setting £30 for this week from today.

NSD today for this challenge at least.

    Keep it low everybody.

  • Spent all my pennies for the week and a few more! Have gone over budget by £3:60.
Need to pledge £20 for the week. Hoping that school starting will curb the spends cos youngest is happy with a walk to the park and wouldn't think of going to shops.x

  • Went to Mr T's with my trusty £10 note and managed to not spend over again. That includes shower gel for OH and choccolates for the Xmas box.

    £7.92/£10.00 (£2.08 in savings tins)

Optimistic mummy - typical bloke going out and forgetting to buy the one thing you asked him to get :p. That's why I try to do as much as I can myself ;)

    Have a good day everyone!

  • yep... he always forgets something and spends money on something else if he's got it.... ive been giving him a small kick up the bum... and told him if he wants the debt cleared hes got to be on board with me... doing ok so far hopefully we will keep it up... on the plus side he sold his old mobile for £50 so will be using that towards this weeks stuff and using £50 out of our money in the bank to make a payment to the credit card. he also is suppost to be doing a few jobs for his auntie and shes giving him £20 for that ... every little help. all in all hopefully will be able to pay £70 off the cc and the end of the week :) fingers crossed x

Very nearly went over my £10 daily budget yesterday as I was working away. If I didn't manage to catch my train home I would have had to wait for an hour an half for another or catch a bus and pay £2.40 (had already spent majority of my cash in morning on said train ticket and Mr T's). Just managed to catch it though :D so was all good.

£9.19/£10.00 (81p in savings tin) - £5.70 of that will be expenses paid back to me.

 OH though, keeps taking £1 out of my tin for his work's syndicate lottery.
