Just clearing up some old queries.....

If an item is individually reduced in price (e.g. I think that Bonjela (Healthcare) is reduced at the mo) then you cannot count its original price when totting up your total spend, you have to count the current price.

But if an item is on a BOGOF (or say a buy 2 for £1.60 offer, like the Chapsticks which are normally 93p each) then you can count the higher price in your maths so it will work in your favour. The BOGOFs are the best bargains, e.g. Nivea Sunspray is £10.98 each but it's on BOGOF (so the till thinks you've spent £21.96 on H&B and all your H&B coupons work with this product).

One final word of warning, I have found in the past that yellow-stickered reduced H&B stuff (reduced due to squashed packaging etc) seems not to register properly in your total, even if you only assume the lower price will count. It seems to throw the whole calculation, has anyone else found this?

Just wondered if there was any offers on schwarzkkopf pro for which there is a 45p coupon in the last tesco mag? I could not find them listed on tesco.com and the picture on the coupon is tiny. My lads use lots of wax and gel so a BOGOF would be great?

Rotten cow today would not take 2 X £1.25 quit coupons (different barcodes) off 2 bottles of elvive because she knew they were bogof. So I now have to wait until the weekend when the nice SAs are on who scan everything or give self scan go at another Tesco. I wouldn't have minded but I did £30 of shopping and these were the only coupons I wanted to use!!

I found the large trolley bags for life priced at 40p each excellent for storing toiletries in.

Today I did 2 toiletry shops, each time I bought 2 packs of gillette mach3 razor blades at £5ish each plus 2 bottles of tesco bath foam on bogof so if the SA says I have not bought any toiletries I can show her the bath foam.

The razor blades aren't on bogof but using 1 x £2.50, 1 x £2.50, 1 x £2.00 and some manufacturers vouchers they were cheap as chips !

I am starting a new temp promotion on Monday for 3 weeks together with overtime on Saturday this weekend so sadly my Tescoing is going to be less for the next couple of weeks, although Mr Welshy will be quite pleased.
