Sorry another question here, if I buy the following which vouchers can I use & how much will it cost me in total after BOGOF's & vouchers come off?

    4 x Elvive shampoos/conditioners £2.98 each BOGOF
    4 x Lynx Showergels £1.88 BOGOF
    4 x Adidas for women £2.28 BOGOF

if you spend the above £28+(you would be better spending a multiple of £10, £8 and £5.....£40 is an ideal, because all the available (wys)coupons divide into 40).........but lets just work on the £28...you could use

    2x£2.50 wys £10 SB, 2 x£2.50 wys New HB, 3 x£2 wys £8 old, 3x£2 wys £8 new, 7x £1 wys £4, £5 old quit £1.25 B, 5 old quit £1.25 T, 5 new £1.25 quit........this gives a total of @£47....off your £13 spend gives you £34 off your other shopping......and around 14 points vouchers.

Elvive gives a bogof of £3.48.....

There are other coupons available to reduce it further.

This is the possibilities before the till beeps, providing you have all these coupons.......its obvious not to do this much unless you get an SA that will take anything.............
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

    Ok, here it is:

There are 20 Tesco RDC's (Regional Distribution Centre's).
    Livingston (Scotland)
    Magor & Chepstow (Wales)
    Belfast & Antrim (NI)
Middlewich, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Coventry, Crick, Daventry, Peterborough, Brackmills(Northants) , Hatfield, Milton Keynes, Didcot, Harlow, Thurrock, Weybridge & Southampton.

Now, i know for a fact that Magor, Middlewich, Crick, Hatfield, Weybridge & Antrim are large food distribution centres.
Working on the assumption that possibly food & household/toiletries are kept separate for health reasons, then that leaves some of the other RDC's to deal with the toiletries side.
Daventry deals with clothing, so that's another one out.

Of course, i could have this all wrong & voucher distribution is done with socio-economic research....:rotfl:

I regularly shop at tescos at Brooklands and regularly use whatever H&B vouchers I have plus I still have a few old Quit coupons. Over the last few weeks, it has become increasingly difficult to use more than one voucher whatever you buy and whatever you spend. The days of picking the SA carefully are gone as it seems every SA has been briefed to adhere to these new rules. They are carefully checking the till roll to see if BOGOF kicks in, and also rejecting the 50 extra points if used with another coupon. I'm not really complaining, as I have a fair stash, but I am sad that my toiletry collecting days seem to be over ! Brooklands hardly ever have their vouchers on display, but if you asked at the pharmacy, they would hand over a couple at a time. Now someone told me that they have been alerted to voucher abuse, and are watching to see who is asking regularly , and are saying they don't have any ! Is it just me ?

Patty, I have dealt with you before, so you might remember I'm from one of the areas above.
However, our area has not had the new qp, my theory only Wales area has had these so far.
I feel coupons are available at every large store depending if there is someone on duty eligible to put them out. ( Ration them out as the case may be  )
The dragon handed me a peach h&b the other day but did not give me a white £2.00 off as well that I saw on the counter. They're on to me.
  • I did 2 h&b shops and could have used alot more of the toiletry vouchers but sometimes I err on the side of caution. If I can get £10 worth of toiletries on bogof @ £5 then hand over 2 x £2.50 vouchers then they are FREE and if some 50 pointers are accepted at the same time then that is brill.

The SA today rejected 2 x £3.50 daily mail vouchers stating she could take unique vouchers only but happily accepted the dual toiletry voucher combo when really she should have accepted only one £2.50 voucher.

Sometimes, I rush to clock up the points over 16,000 now on several family clubcards (also paying for all the extension using my tesco credit card/clubcard so get lots of points that way) and sometimes forget there isn't a huge rush - if I use points vouchers tomorrow or in 2 weeks time it doesn't matter I won't get the points any quicker.

I asked a supervisor if they single out voucher users in his store and he stated no - if it means keeping customers he is happy to let the SAs accept vouchers and long may it continue.

well, the conclusion was/would be that the RDC's that are left appear to be concentrated in the bottom half of the UK, which would/could account for some people having no trouble obtaining vouchers in their areas.
However, there are some parts that don't fit this....

I don't think it's time for Darwin to move over for me just yet.....:rotfl:

I have some £2 off £8 spend on Healthcare, is there any other vouchers I can use with these to get products cheap/free? Any good BOGOF's in this catergory?

You can use the two of the £1 off £4 Healthcare spend from the red H&B Bargains leaflets (Yvonne, if you've not got these just remind me in our pm's on PaidtoShop and I will include some of these in the H&B swaps we are discussing...they will be as an extra on top of the H&B value, as I have some spare).

Also if you come across the new Get Active packs that have just been mentioned today there is another £2 off £8 Healthcare in there (I assume the one you've got already is from a quitkit, is it red/white?).

P.S. Not sure if BOGOF but I saw some vitamins on offer today with a yellow SEL (earlier I posted on here some other Healthcare items to consider, so do look back thru my recent posts if you want to find some more Healthcare ideas....but the easiest way is to go and have a look, find the medicines/Slimfast/Cold & flu remedies and anything on those shelves should be 'Healthcare'...).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Maybe the answers simple. Different depots receive different vouchers so customers cannot use them together....but they didn't think people would be swapping 'em!!!!!!

Or maybe they do it to get us guessing and are laughing at the time we spend trying to work it out.:rotfl:
