Maybe the answers simple. Different depots receive different vouchers so customers cannot use them together....but they didn't think people would be swapping 'em!!!!!!

Well my local extra store has had quit packs, SB £2 off WYS £8 white leaflet, now got the new H&B pink leaflets, and they only seem to hand them out at the weekend, during the week they're always on a stand at the end of the make-up aisle. Me and my mum also got some free nivea cream sachets they had on the stand too. This store is also always happy to take whatever vouchers too. There is an asda and sainsburys within 2miles of it too which I thought was maybe why they are keen to keep the customer happy!?!
  • Does anyone have any of these vouchers they could send me please? My local Tescos (Guildford) are not doing them. I am sooooooo disappointed!

My local Tesco don't have any coupons, ever, either. People used to say the same sort of thing re R&R's 'no misprices at my local'...

So I drive further afield (this is normal to me as this is the way us ex-R&Rers used to shop). When I find something (which you will if you can look in more than one Tesco) I take more than I can use and then swap my spares on https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk for coupons that I need.

The petrol I use is offset by the fact that, when shopping off my home patch I feel able to hand over a daringly-large pile of coupons which are usually accepted by the carefully-chosen (male) cashier. Whereas in my 'local' Tesco, I might be allowed to use a few coupons, max, as they are quite anti-coupon-use there (not due to me I might add).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's times like this when I wish I did have a car, sadly I have to make do with the "local" one but as I don't go in that often I'm not worried about spending coupons in there - I do most of my shopping online.
2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please

just had this from my friend whos a beginer today and he ger story

I'm just in - went into town too.

just had a bit of a barny in Tesco. took your advice and looked for a 'muppet' but trouble is I picked someone toooooo thick

She disputed whether I would able to use all the vouchers so I asked her to scan them - she called a colleague over who told me they no longer accept complimentary vouchers. I felt duty bound to argue my case - why was I able to use the vouchers the other day? Where were the in-store signs informing customers? Why did the vouchers state an expiry date at the end of the month? Why wouldn't she bloody scan them in to see if it worked!!!? I got soooo annoyed because they were talking about me as if i wasn't there and when they did speak to me they spoke to me like i was an idiot! Eventually they called over a Team Leader who said the same initially until she realised her colleague hadn't even bothered to scan them in. So, got my way in the end but it was a bit embarrassing funny though
