Photo update!
Have ironed it out but it still marked from where it was in the hoop. I will have to figure out hot to clean it once it's all finished. Will do a bit more on the zebra tonight.
Also, I have brought the boots to send back today.0 -
Boots have gone back so that wil be £105 in credit on my credit card (once postage has been deducted) It has come at a good time as I need a few knoe bits for the winter season but didn't have anything in the budget for them. I particularly need some new ankle boots for work as my last pair fell apart and I looked like a tramp wearing them0

Hi Laura.
Good on you for sending boots back. I can't justify spending that either but I did just order some [FONT=verdana,arial,helvetica][SIZE=-1]Ukala Women's Mid Calf Boots - suede outer and wool lined - from Amazon for £14.43 including postage!! I feel I cannot be robbed at that price. I will let you know if they are any good x

Hi RR- have searched for those boots on amazon and they look snuggly and warm.
What I really need is some ankle boots for work. Ideally real leather then they have a chance of lasting but no more than £30... yeah, that's a tough shopping listSo with the £100+ credit I'll have on my credit card I am going to get some new work boots, and few other bits-- a few pieces of knitware maybe. Or some new trousers for work.. I would like at least 5 things for the money, if not more.

Hi Laura - I bet you can do it! Matalan, TK Maxx maybe - always worth a look in there. I had a pair of leather boots that cost me £90 then I saw them in Matalan a month later for £25. x0 -

HiLaura and all - just reporting that I have got these boots and am stunned by how cheap they were and how nice. They are emu's budget brand. i have emus and obviously they cost ten times more, but these are lovely x
Laura - cheap but comfortable ankle boots you were wanting - have you tried Gluv footwear? - I have used them for years - so cheap, great customer service and if you register for email alerts with them you regularly get vouchers off which allow you to buy boots and shoes ridiculously cheap (like £12 for boots). Cheaper to buy online than in shops - https://www.gluvfootwear.co.uk. They sell other brands on their site - their own brand is far superior thoughx0 -

Thanks for that RR. Just had a quick look and seen some already £40 and leather, so for only £5 more than the non-leather ones I'd seen in M&S def have a better look when back at home. And thanks for the tip on joining email list
