Feral kittens update

It happens all the time unfortunately, ask any rescue.

Unbelievable. I checked out some rescue websites and you're right...it's true.
The kittens were definitely not exhibiting feral behaviour according to the rescue lady because they were happy to approach to cry for food...just scared if anyone moved towards them...if they had indeed been dumped I don't know how the perpetrators can live with themselves. I feel sick to even think of it.0 -

I got Winnie 13 years ago after she had been dumped where I lived in Spain. There were 3 kittens who suddenly turned up in the gardens and used to stick together. They weren't scared, and someone who lived there took them all in.
I was hearing a lot of kitten meowing one day and just assumed it was them as they were often out playing. Then when I saw them all and could still hear meowing I followed the sound and it was coming from under the bonnet of a neighbours car.
Our neighbour had gone back to Sweden for 3 months so DH had to force the window down to get the bonnet opened. Out flew a little kitten, absolutely petrified, and ran away to hide.
To cut a long story short, as soon as we moved away she ran back to the car to hide again. I got water and went and bought some kitten food but she wouldn't come out while we were there.
It took a few days of putting food down beside the front wheel of the car and leaving it for her, then after a few days she'd appear and would eat with me sitting there quietly. I never touched her until she came to me and then she seemed to enjoy gentle stroking.
Then one day she decided she was ready to move in with us and that was that. She's been ruling us ever since
It was very comon there for people to dump their pets.
We had 3 dogs during our time there and all had been abandoned.
I'm so glad you perservered and got help for the little kitties :T0 -

Thank goodness that there are people like you around.
I must admit that it's beyond me how people can abandon animals like that.0 -

Oh my God, she must've been so frightened. Imagine if you hadn't heard her?
How can people abuse trusting little creatures so badly?
I just emailed the cat rescue lady to ask if the kittens were boys or girls, and hopefully she'll be able to tell me they are in reasonably good health considering how starved they were.0 -

FURTHER UPDATE: The rescue lady emailed me some pics of the kittens and promised me they're not hungry any more!
Both little girls...the braver black one is thoroughly enjoying being stroked while the timid white one is still hissing at anyone who tries!
Healthy and lively with good appetites...so I'm really happy it all ended so well and I know you all will be too!0 -
Great news but.........
WE NEED PICS !!0
