RESULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lady from the cat rescue came out and put pilchards in the trap, the kittens appeared and after some hesitation went into the trap, which the rescue lady immediately slammed shut.

Loads of kids watching and a massive cheer went up!

The lady says they seem healthy enough, so she's taken them away with her and will have them checked by a vet, and worm and deflea them before starting the rehoming process.

Oh, my God...I'm just sooooo made up they are safe now and will be fed and warm and looked after and loved!!

What a wonderful result after all the effort you have put in to get the help.It really shouldn't have been so difficult for you and many would have just given up and left them to a miserable existence.

i am straight off now to tell the chap i have been communicating with.He will be so pleased that the contact details he gave you have paid off..

It's just a shame that the whole family couldn't have been caught, treated and neutered.

WELL DONE YOU :T oh and the cat lady!

Thanks Froglet and PrincessPlaty! So pleased the little mites are all tucked up warm and safe tonight with full tummies instead of being curled up on their own in the dark racked with hunger.

The rescue lady also said she didn't think they were feral after all as they approached her crying for food, and a feral cat wouldn't have done that.

I know very little about cats, I'm more of a doggy person, but possibly they could've learned that approaching people crying for food was the only way to survive?

And if they weren't feral, how else could they have ended up behind a shed on their own?

Perhaps they have been dumped. So pleased to hear they have now been rescued tho!

Oh no! Never thought of that! Surely nobody could be so cruel?
