It is clear that this department needs my skills and knowledge especially in relation to disabled people if they are like this.
I think you will probably have done yourself out of the job ...as their was no facility on the application form to disclose your disability you could have enclosed a covering letter. When you did not receive the response you had expected you could have pointed out that you had applied for the job - could have given details and apologised if you had been unclear in your original enquiry.
What skills and knowledge in relation to disabled people do you haveyou ask everyone here about every little issue...then do not act on it. You say you are not disabled enough for it really to have been noticed at interview...then moan that you are not being given details regarding access. This job is at your own UNI is it not...
you know about the access..you have told us about the few steps etc.
I think you were just trying to get an advantage by mentioning disability - it has backfired on you when you could have handled it so much better.
You will never get a job until you can see past your disability - and to be honest I cannot ever see this happening.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -

I can see you being here in five year's time complaining about the same things over and over and over again ad nauseum.
Right now I wouldn't employ you - you cause too much fuss. You come across as being very hard work, you don't listen, you want it all your own way.
You need a sharp change in attitude before you go any further!
I agree, it's unbelievable it's like :wall:It is clear that this department needs my skills and knowledge especially in relation to disabled people if they are like this.
WHAT?! I don't see that they have done anything wrong, and he does not understand quite what spam is!
I certainly would be horrified if phil had anything to do with disability issues! With someone like this there would be a lot of employers thinking twice about employing disabled people!
shameless-about-money, there is absolutely no point, he does not take a blind bit of notice - there is no reasoning he's just on his own little planet and lets blame everyone around. You couldn't make it up!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Your speech there made you worthy of a Franking Machine Salesman! Honestly, that is the type of spam phone call i deal with on a daily basis, and i definately wouldnt put you through to my boss or give you any further information. So you see ou do have to prove you are not a telesales person or you just will not get to speak to the correct person.
The department does not need your skills in this area as the job you applied for is setting up conferences is it not? Not dealing with calls from possible sales persons.
They need my skills as they do not have a lot of knowledge on disability clearly.:beer:0 -
All I want is this job more than anything in the world and just to be able to get it. Maybe I do get upset and take things too personally but I want this job more than anything.:beer:0

They certainly do not need your skills in this area - your knowledge on disability is Phil - you know nothing about other people's disabilities or how they deal with it. You certainly have a hang up about your disability - why don't you start dealing with your hang ups, stop thinking of yourself as disabled and concentrate on your ability.
Oh and a very good tip for you - take up a communication course!0 -

So what if I make fuss, do companies want "yes" men or people with their own ideas and drive?
You are making a fuss about being disabled!!! Too much fuss. Just get on with it.0 -
All I want is a flipping job and not to be insulted and called a Spammer. All I want is to meet the Manager before I have an interview to talk about the job and see if I can do it and show them all the good points I have. These are not big things but it always ends up that I feel upset for some reason.:beer:0

As long as you have an attitude problem (and before you say it, yes you do have an attitude problem) you haven't a chance of getting any job. As far as the job in question is concerned, with all the drama you have caused already with this company - you have blown it, and you have only yourself to blame I'm afraid. You say that they know you now - I am sure they do and the nuisance you have made of yourself with this company already I am sure they will not consider you, they will see you as a troublemaker.0 -
but they dont want a disabilty rights person.. they want an office junior to do all the gofering jobs ............ if you want to be a disability rights officer go get a job in that areamustn't grumble :cool:0

I have set my heart on this job and I just do not know what more I can do to show I have abilities to bring to this job.:beer:0
