I am enjoying the peace and quiet! The 3 boys are away to Scotland game and staying at DS2s for the night. DD is at my mums and DH is on the phone to his brother.
It isn't hot here by the way :mad:

Can't believe how much you DD and DS3 have grown up since the pics i saw on the flower comp sheils. Not sure I gad seen a pic of your other 2 sons til today. Hope the boys all have a good time at football.

Been chatting to a footballer i know on Twitter. He sent me a lovely message this morning all about positive vibes. He basically said"be happy but more importantly be yourself"

Overtime was ok. Went quite quick and called in at inlaws for a brew on way home. Handy having them near work:rotfl:

when i wake up at six oclock
there so much to be done
i fire the computer on
to see if i have won

first i load up outlook
and click on folder,win
i sit and wait, anticipate
but nothing does come in

i quicky click explorer
and google then i go
i type "my name" then winners list
but nothing does it show

then magic mystery mixup
at seven on the dot
i check the number,check it twice
but my number it is not

finaly it's now come the time
for my morning cup of tea
and then i hear the postman
is this a prize for me?

just a bill he hands to me
i give him evil eyes
and start to think the postman
has maybe stole my prize

its friday nearly 9 0clock
finaly something i can win
a tasty little crunchie bar
i fill my details in

you can only enter once a week
the message says on screen
"stupid site! this is just once"!!!
i shout whilst turning green

next on list is john smiths site
ive entered this all day
my dad comes, puts his number in
and wins one straight away

back on mse i go
to see what i can win
i click for hours whilst roboform
fills my entries in

ohh a pair of ugg boots
a ring, a shopping spree
a holiday to trinidad
that prize was made for me

a lovely dorset hamper
a handbag everyday
tickets here and tickets there
i'll win this one i pray

next im off on dailies
to keep my entries going
i know that this is the way
to get the prizes flowing

mpora shoes and sugar mag
chocolate, prize galore
i enter this and enter that
and then enter some more

the day has flown the chores undone
the house is a disgrace
i quickly clean the breakfast pots
and tidy up the place.

the hubby's home, his tea uncooked
"what have you done all day"?
"ive been busy cleaning love"
i say and look away

the kids have taken over
and there sat on my pc
they load up competition sites
there turning into me

sky kids,match and pop fun world
they take so bloody long
i sit and check they do it right
and dont get the answers wrong

the tea is cooked,prepared and served
kids bed time nearly here
finaly i get the pc back
and give a little cheer

the hubby doesn't look to pleased
i see his anger rise
"whats the point in entering
you never win a prize"

i remind him of the things ive won
some family bikes, a book,
and all the things ive won for him
i remind him that he took

"you wasnt being mardy then"
i say with a sarcastic smirk
"so go away, leave me alone
cant you see ive got to work"

its getting rather late now
i must get into to bed
i check my email once again
then finaly rest my head

i lay there, mind is thinking
not worrying nor sorrow
but what i might have won for me
when i wake up tomorrow.

off to water the baskets now :eek::D
then got to sort something out for dinner :eek:
think a takeaway tonight can't be bothered to cook or be doing :rotfl:

Thats a good poem FireFly, I am still mopping up the tears, read to my sister but she just sat there grunting, she does a few comps here and there and always moaning she doesn't tin.
