timed me doing all the mag dailies this morning took me an xtra 10 mins to do all the new ones i wanted :eek::rotfl:
thought it would take longer so not bad

just been to fill up bird feeders & water baths &
stood watching them having a bath



& just seen the squirrel running of with his nuts :rotfl:
at least he leaves the fat balls alone now :rotfl:

Becks, good pic, yes I had to look at it twice so dont know what that makes me?? Hope DH enjoyed his sausage sandwich, my DH loves one too, thats what he has when we sometimes go to the pub for breakfast.

FireFly - you put us all to shame having your Chrismas present shopping done already, I am only just beginning. Still thinking what I can ask you for next but I am working on it LOL

Off to do my weekly mags and puzzles now, the trouble is I save them to a word document and then do them in one big effort so I dont have to keep logging in and out of the puzzler ones.

I don't know whether I am looking forward to the Christmas comps or not as this is my first comping Christmas, struggle to keep up now thats for sure, we will just have to see how it goes.

Anyway, now good me moaning, best get on with it...

Now Firefly, not pancakes and strawberries they are my favourite, wish I didnt like the sweet stuff it all goes to my waistline - whats left of it of course. I am trying to lose weight before the C word.

DH has just said the Women's Own comps are only Mon, Wed & Frid is he right about this?

Sylvia the only advice I can offer about December comps is just enter the ones you really wantZ there are so many it would be impossible to try and keep up with them all. I found last December (my first one comping) that i started off with good intentions and as the days passed iweeded out the ones i didnt really want as much or the ones that didnt seem to be worth it (i seem to recall Happy Egg ran one and it was first correct submitted answer won so didnt see mch point with it if)

Remember its meant to be fun it isnt worth getting bogged down in them.

Ive got the washing on the line and DH has painted our shed already today. Now time for comping.

Im looking forward to christmas advents. Although Im currently doing posts from 3rd Sept (thats only monday :eek:) so have loads of catching up to do.

Are the advent ones usually posted every day or are they in dailies? If they are comps that have a different prize everyday, but have an end date 30 days away it might take me a while to see them so I may need to have an idea where to look for them. Unless of course I get caught up :rotfl:

Hectic here at the moment as the whole family is here but just be DH and me by 11.30am! Have managed to do the dailies though.
I haven't won very much on the Xmas comps Sylvia. i won a lovely hamper on my first Xmas comping but it was a redraw and the first winner was on IWIW saying she had missed out so it spoiled it for me. She did eventually get one as well though.

Zombie there is usually a thread with all the advents on but you will usually find if its a different prize each day you HAVE to enter on the day for that prize. Thats the trouble with advents they aren't really long dated comps just a series of short one day comps every day of December :rotfl:
