Evening all, just got back from a quick visit to the pub with DH. Can't remember when we last went out in the evening. One of his team is retiring so he felt he ought to show his face, it made a nice change.

Had a quick read back, well done on your wink Tink, that sounds really nice :) I hadn't seen that poem before, very good, I can relate to that. Hope you enjoyed your pizza LM, we had butterfly chicken marinated in a Peri Peri sauce with rice and salad, it was delicious, we'll be having that again. Bad news about your sink Becks, have you managed to unblock it, I do love to hear a good gurgle when the water runs away :D

Off to do a few comps I think. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

We had a hamster that someone else got fed up of. He died over a year ago and I still go to take him a bit of carrot when I'm peeling them. He was really sweet natured but it was so upsetting when he got ill and died. it took DD weeks to get over him.

Just been watching the dvd of "Up" that I won on the Brave Comp. Really love that film although it makes me cry!

One of my neighbours went to work in the USA for 4 years and gave my DS2 their hamster to look after for them. He was 11 at the time and the hamster was called Flossie so it had a quick change to Ben.

Ben was much loved but sadly died before the neighbours returned from the USA. Many tears were shed on both sides of the Atlantic but we gave her/him a wonderful burial and an afternoon tea wake.

Not such an angel as I've accidentally posted it twice - not very with it today!

Never mind, one of the posts is right...
  • We turned water off and undid the ubend on the sink to see if hat was blocked. That was clear so obviously blockage somewhere else so got plumber out and he is coming back monday to see what he can do. Sigh. Swear this pkace is cursed. Always something wrong lol.

Now he has gone i am going to have a soak in the bath and unwind as feel stressed and fed up tonight
